This movie was not what I expected but overall ok.

This is one the movies I wished I had not bought. I was expecting an exciting movie as Moby Dick with Gregory Peck was back decades ago. The plot was slow and the action was ok. The first underwater scene was good in 3D but the story didn't make up for the rest.

A bit slow and drawn out. Not the epic sailor vs. whale extravaganza I was expecting. Well acted, good special effects and watchable. Just had awkward pacing and could have gotten the point across about 20-30 minutes sooner IMO.

I had not seen this one before purchasing. The cgi was well done. And I like Ron Howard. He is good at the huge budget movies. I was unimpressed the cast. Mr blue eyes just didn't make ya cry.

I thought there could have been more devotion spent on the plot line and character development. The special effects were not as good as I was expecting either.

It's an interesting story but for s Ron Howard film it lacked a lot. Didn't even think the special effects were that good.

Had a high expectation, but fell asleep about 30 minutes into the movie because it was so slow in the beginning.

Although this movie is helmed by the great Ron Howard, it has terrible editing and uninteresting characters.

Did not like the movie especially since I have kids and the story ending depicts cannibalism.

Dislocate movie starts out really slow has a little bit of action overall kind of boring

This movie was a very slow movie which made the seem much longer then it actually was

a real disservice to Melvilles classic and not worth the time or effort to watch

Was not very good. I don't know if I just didn't feel sorry for them because of how they hunted the whales. I know that's how they did it but still I could not feel any sympathy for these characters in this movie and that's saying something since I usually root for the bad guy in the movies. Wasn't very good

movie was ok not great - the actual product quality was very good

Save yourself the money and wait till it comes out on cable!!

It was not what i expected, but the acting was good.

I watched this movie once but will not watch it again.
