This odd ball precursor of the story behind Moby Dick is a interesting film but not for every one a little brutal but not one of Ron Howard's best - the 3D is decent.

This was quite a flick! It was well directed, great cast, great story,great cinematography, and a fantastic soundtrack! It's a heck of a ride, and very rich with emotion. A must own!

This film is great insight to the story behind the story we are all familiar with. Not only and interesting retelling of Moby Dick but a visual pleasure with excellent cinimitography.

I waited for the movie to come out of theaters, the movie is worth the cost of the DVD/Blueray combo. It was a nice drama to watch with the wife in the comfort of our livingroom

Watched this on Redbox, liked it a lot, and bought the movie when it was on sale at BB. Great cinematography. And what's even greater is the sound effects thanks to Dolby Atmos. If your home theater system has Dolby Atmos, get this movie.

This film uses 3D to the max. If you love eye-popping 3D effects this movie is for you. The underwater action is great. Treat yourself and get this one for your collection!!!

Wasn't into watching this movie, but wife got me to buy it. Have to admit, was really good, especially since I like action more than drama. This movie really draws you in.

Entertaining story about a whaling ship that gets attacked by a giant whale. The story was so unbelievable that it in Herman Melville to write a story based on it. Visually stunning and yet another interesting movie from Ron Howard.

I was so glad to get this movie at an excellent price. I did not expect much as it did not do well at the box office but I can tell you that this movie is so good.
