    Bonnie & Clyde 2

It is an updated version of Bonnie and Clyde with some twist to keep you guessing where the story will take you next. It has moments of true sadness, humor, disguist and excitement. If you are into chases, fancy cars, and dynamic characters, this one is for you.

    Great idea, mediocre execution

Everyone is on a clock. What keeps the general population from devolving into id-driven mobs is the fact that no one knows how much time they have left on theirs. If you had a constant reminder on your forearm, however, you might simply go about your life in a desperate attempt to prolong it. Or not. Will Salas (played by Justin Timberlake) is a 28-year-old factory worker whose one year clock started and aging stopped, like everyone else in the film, when he turned 25. He and his 50 year-old mother Rachel (played by Olivia Wilde) live in the ghettos of Dayton hoping to earn and save enough to at least see the next day. All while wages in the ghetto are constantly going down and the cost of living is constantly going up. Then, while out drinking with his friend Borel (played by Johnny Galecki), he learns of a man with more than a century left on his clock who has unadvisedly advertised his good fortune while in the same bar as Will and Borel. A local time-thief enters the picture and, rather than retreat like his friend did and advised him to do, Will comes to the aid of the fortunate stranger. While saving his life was all for naught, the stranger gives Will all the time left on his clock before allowing the time on his own clock to run out while he’s sitting on a bridge overlooking a dry river basin. “Time is money” was a phrase first coined by Benjamin Franklin. While the idea of reversing that concept to “money is time” is interesting, I don’t believe the cast was up to the challenge of exploring it. Whatever success Justin Timberlake might’ve had in supporting roles, he doesn’t have what it takes to be the leading man. Amanda Seyfried, whose role has her playing off Timberlake for a lot of the film, is another professional whose appeal tends to overshadow her abilities for some reason. Perhaps an independent production could provide actors with genuine talent, who are young enough to look the part, but this is closer some sort of CW melodrama.

I enjoyed this movie, though it is Sci-Fi, it challenged my thinking about the use of my time and life. Good escape and action. Thought provoking as well.

    Enjoyable futuristic flick

This movie got us thinking that Justin Timberlake is really a super actor & will grow into the awesome Clooney-type leading man. Bug-eyed Amanda Seyfried was hot. I especially liked a futuristic movie that used old cars, 70s & 80s models. A ton of action.

Interesting idea of 'living' until you are 25... and then having just one year left to 'live'.. unless you can find a way around it!! Good Movie!

This story will have you on the edge of your seat. It grabs your emotions and pulls you through the story. Reminiscent of the 70's "Logan's Run", this movie takes you on a believable futuristic trip.

Very original idea of a movie. I have to admit, my expectations weren't that great before I saw it, but I was impressed. JT is a very good actor!

    Logan's Run 2.0

I've seen this before... Logan's Run was the first movie to have a plot of conflict with fighting the system. And to be thrust together with a strange girl fighting the system is the same as Logan's Run. Some of the plot and goal are a bit tweaked, but it was the same. The end of the movie has the same type of impact to the system, overall change from the norm. At least Logan's Run it out on HD (Blu-Ray is an HD format).

Justin Timberlake does well as a leading man. Plot concept keeps it exciting and fresh. Villian Cillian Murphy is amazing; he makes you hate him from the first minute he's on screen.

I wasn't quite sure what to make of this movie when I first heard about it. I'm not really moch of a timberlake fan. But it also stars Amanda Seyfried, and everything I've seen of her work is quite impressive, so I thought I would give it a try. I think it is well worth watching. Kind of like a cross between bonnie and clyde and robin hood.
