Very poor design. The first one broke on the corner and when I replaced it, it was able to see why it broke. The lid of the laptop pushed on the corner of the base -- there was no clearance-- and snapped the corner off. The company really didn't care that the design was not proper for a Mac.

This didn't workout well for me. Before purchasing this shell for my 15" MacBook Pro, I read the reviews, specifications as well as spoke to friends who had purchased this particular cover. When I received it, i attempted to put it on, and it didn't fit. Apparently it was for an older model.

It’s not made to be durable... also it didn’t fit my 15 inch MacBook Pro retina with touchbar. Which it should have. Apparently it’s made for that laptop. It was an inch too big. I automatically returned it

it would have been okay if it fit. However i am just realizing that i didnt get my refund for it when I returned it. Maybe that is why the store closed

Seemed to be a good purchase, but it didn't handle the light abuse from regular handling and cracked not long after purchase.

This is a very poorly made product. Product is flimsy, The quality is poor it’s just overall not a very good product I do not suggest buying it

Broke int he first week. Had 3 others that broke 2 months after. Stopped buying them.

You need to make sure which product you have version make sure it lines up nice store was a big help

Its 15inch but it to big for my macbook pro and it a 15inch I will be returning it back to the store

did not fit properly on newest model of mac book air even though it states it will. It is too big

Returned it. Didn't like it. It was to thin and flimsy. I felt like it would break easily.

I have had several MacBooks over the years and have used the Speck shell cases for most. Thus, my reference points are the similar Speck products. I purchased this Incase version for my wife's 2015 MacBook Pro because she likes the color. The case is aesthetically very nice, with a textured look not on the surface but molded within the translucent plastic. The outer surfaces are rather slippery; most people will of course handle their laptop carefully, but I can see the possibility of an accident if one is distracted or otherwise not paying attention when picking up their computer. Fit and finish are very good otherwise. The Speck cases I have used all had a slightly tacky coating on the outer surfaces, which until now, comparing with the Incase version, I had not really thought of as a safety feature. One tradeoff about that tacky coating is that at least for me, the coating would begin peeling off in spots after a couple years of daily use carrying the laptop between meeting rooms all day. So it could be that the Incase version will be more durable over time, we'll just have to see. My suggestion is that you touch the actual Incase product before deciding on it. It would be best to try it on your actual laptop as the weight could change your perception of whether or not the plastic surface is an issue for you.
