Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.it's okay it you're desperate for a shell, but it's not 100% secure on the laptop. even popping out the feet to make it more flush with the device it doesn't securely stay attached to the bottom. i was constantly having to snap it back into place. the $12 case from amazon is performing far better

Didn’t lock and can’t use an external drive

It did not lock onto MacBook Pro correctly. Also not convenient if needing to use an external drive. You have to take it off to use. A little disappointed about that with second one as well.

I will say that no matter how long I am on it, the computer itself doesn't overheat with the case on it. If you can get it on sale great, otherwise invest in another case.

Overall, not good for protection

It is flimsy and will protect against scratches, but if you are looking for anything to protect with potential drops, DO NOT BUY! Will do a horrible job with that. Also the case is hard shell and cracks easily. It will leave scratches on your laptop.

This case is definitely not as good as the one I had on my 2010 MacBook. This one doesn't really fit well and a piece of it chipped off after owning it for a couple of months.

Terrible Case

I haven't been able to get it back on without it falling off. After a closer look, it seems the back that clips on is uneven and that why it falls off every time.
