They said it’s fits perfect, but the top feels lopsided. Top keeps popping off on one side, could’ve been done better. I’m constantly have to re-snap the top on.

It will do. Don’t get it if you think it will protect from falls. I wanted something fast to keep it from scratches. I am looking to buy one with shock absorbent to protect it from falls

Waste of money. Work pretty good for a week and now doesn’t stay clipped on. I is just a piece of plastic crap. That is too expensive for what it is.

You have to take it off for many accessories to plug in. Took it off and returned it.

I chose this case because it's one of three currently available actually sold by Apple for this machine (as of today at least). There are cheaper cases out there, but given that the reviews are SO mixed for them, I wanted one Apple actually sells. No regrets at all on day one. Clipped right on. Solid and tight, but not forced to be so. It adds a little thickness, but I don't find it overly thick. Those wonderful MagSafe, SD Card, HDMI (finally!!) and Thunderbolt/USB-C connections are as easy to get to as without the case. And, in fact, maybe a little easier as there's a slight point of reference as to their locations because of the case edge from a normal usage position. The 'feet' are great. Not as rubbery as the MacBook itself, but it's not sliding around either. The noticeably more expensive case they had didn't have feet as good as this does. I'm about to take it traveling, so we'll see how well it holds up with a 'throw it in the backpack' routine, but it's cheap enough that I don't really care if there are scratches over time. Now to figure out how to stick and external SSD to it in a decent fashion. Definitely didn't want to semi-permanently attach something like that to the actual MacBook. Ugh. If you spend the money these machines cost, get a case. Or you'll be SO bummed the first time you scratch it accidentally, or bump it off the couch, or whatever. I have a space grey model with black case, and it's basically black now. Cool. I like black anyway.

Excellent size and configuration of a laptop. Incredibly fast and compact. Basically a desktop computer you can carry. Fast graphics, and all the security of the specific security chip apple puts in. Also was a great price.

Pops off really easily but seems good for bumps, dings, or scratches. I don’t trust it after a fall, though

Looks good. Fits well. I guess if you want to pay $50 so your Macbook doesn't get scratched this might be perfect. There seems to be no impact protection. No corner bumpers. I was hoping for something that might help my Mac survive a drop. If your looking for good looking scratch protection I think this would be fine. Drop protection look elsewhere.

As far as the purpose it serves, it does well. However, the construction of it is sub par. With small tabs that clip over the corners of the inside body of the laptop being the only thing that hold the bottom portion on: leave a lot of be desired.
