    The original stands the test of time but the second, as most sequels do, doesn't reach the standards set by the first. Overall not a bad combo.

    They did a great job re-mastering the first one. The first movie was probably around 20 years old, but its picture quality is awesome with the re-master.

    Too get both these movies for 12 bucks and on bluray, amazing deal on a sci-fi classic where the world defeats the aliens.
