Independence Day is a perfect lazy, turn the brain off alien invasion movie. A lot of mindless fun. Audio and video are near reference quality. Definitely recommended.

4K movies with HDR is nothing short of breath-taking quality. Brought new life to this 20 year old classic.

Surrounds & sub will be put to the test. If the neighbors knock on your door to complain about the Bass!!! they are only jealous & will probably buy your sub for more than you paid for it if you have a good one.

This movie was one of many that were there for you to watch as a kid. It’s still a pretty fun movie to watch, especially around the 4th of July.

The effects hold up fairly well 20 years later though the extra content isn't something you could have picked up in most of the various sets beforehand minus the set up for the sequel stuff.

The 4k hdr is well done in this movie. Just goes to prove something done that long ago can look even better.
