This is one of the 4k DVDs we purchased the night we got our new 65" Samsung QLED SmarTV. It's one of our favorites!

A classic film with lots of action! I watched it everytime it came on TV so I decided it would be a great addition to the collection.

I just saw this on the shelf and liked the price. And the features and bonus version of the film. One would be crazy not to get this.

Excellent sci-fi movie. Good story, well played by the cast, outstanding visual effects. Too bad Harry C Jr had to die so violently.

Great 4K transfer for the age of the film and the amount of Visual effects. DTS:X soundtrack is a great leap from the 5.1DTS-MA track

Always enjoyed this movie. I have found myself collecting blu rays so the steel case was a nice touch

A fantastic movie with great acting (Will Smith), this is a movie worthy of being in my collection. Science fiction and action are a great combination.

One of my favorite movies is Independence Day, so of course I had to have the sequel. Not as good as the first but worth a watch.

This was one of my favorite movies growing up. Will Smith is awesome in it. Misplaced my dvd copy so a 3.99 Blu Ray was a no Brainer

Great classic movie from the 90s with Will Smith doing a great performance. It's a classic doomsday scenario with lots of fun throughout the whole thing.

the cinematography on this 4k has only gotten better. i definitely enjoyed it.

It has been over 20 years since this movie first hit the theaters. This remastered version is just as explosive as when it came out.

This is a classic, if you like this genre. Great action fantasy movie with really cool bonus features in a great steelbook package.

Nice to see the movie in blu ray with some fun extras. Was a great movie then and still is a great way to spend two hours.

We originally bought this movie on VHS tape and watched it a lot! We just had to upgrade to the blue ray Anniversary addition.

I have owned independence day on dvd since it was released but I'm so glad I bought the blu ray. picture and sound quality if awesome.

Solid transfer here. Cleans up the original picture nicely. CG parts are a bit dated as expected, but the prop and models looks even better in HD. If you're a fan of this and don't own it on BR yet, pick this one up
