I was excited to get this movie when I saw it on the sale rack. Took it home to watch like a big event. I am a huge fan of the first Independence Day and watched it over 25 times. This one,well I fell asleep after 30 minutes. I didn't feel the tie in between the movies. Maybe it was me. Perhaps I expected too much? Lower your expectations first and it will help.

This movie is pretty cheesy, but it's a fun loud ride. This new release also makes the movie look better!

Classic scifi where the earth triumphs over the nasty aliens. Some laughs along the way, looks nice on bluray.

Independent day movie is an old movie. It still good an entertaining after all these years. Still great to watch.

This movie was packed with action and great acting.

This is obviously still the same great movie we all know and love, but the picture is very grainy. I know the movie obviously was not shot in 4k or even 2k, but it really looks almost like old DVD quality. The sound is great and all, but the picture quality could really be better. If you are buying this expecting a 4k quality picture, stay away.

Another movie with awesome actors and lots of action.

I enjoyed this movie enough to buy for my collection.

How can you go wrong with Independence Day for $5?

I upgraded from the blu ray and the 4k is definitely worth the purchase.
