I preferred the first movie and I don't think this movie did a good job of bridging the gap. (While something were obvious, others were left unexplained or ignored.)

This was one of my favorite science fiction movies. However the ultra hd version was very little improvement over the blue ray version.

I bought the 4k UltraHD+2-Disk Blu-Ray+Digital HD. Recieved the UHD and BluRay disks and code. After redeeming the code, Vudu and MoviesAnywhere say I bought only HDX (1080p) and tell me I can buy UHD (4k) for $14.99. Every other UHD+Digital content I've purchased has given me UHD on the streaming services.

Forgot how bad movie graphics were when this movie was made. Movie is a good. Even received a coupon to use for a ticket on the new Independence Day movie.

Not as good as I had expected. I have purchased other 4k movies that seemed much more brilliant. Maybe the original wasn't filmed in 4k?

Let's be honest, Independence Day was never that good, but this 4K transfer sure does look and sound fantastic.

I was expecting this film to be as good as the original Independence Day. This film turned out to be in my opinion, slow and a bit boring

Everybody loved this movie when it first came out in theaters. Now for me it has lost a lot of luster. Still a fun watch to to see everything blow up.

Do not buy this movie. The first movie was great! The second is a flop/dog!!!! Paid $30+ for this movie.

The movie is already amazing!! Watching it in blu ray only makes it better. Would be nice to get a digital copy with the movie though.

Doesnt seem like a true 4k remaster. Some parts looked really blurry and pixelated. Kinda like a VHS to DVD transfer.

Purchased in anticipation of next movie. Amazing how FX has changed over 10-15 years, and end-of-the world depiction then and now.

Movie was “ok” it’s not quite the same without Captain Hiller but still watchable.

Purchased this as a test movie for a projector. Acting is horrible, special effects are bleh, I just want to sleep after watching this.

While I enjoyed them bringing Brent Spiner and most of the original cast back, it is just not the same without Will Smith.

A great summer movie experience when it first came out, hasn't aged terribly well, but still hold a soft spot for it.

Was a way better movie remember thru child's eyes but as an adult the cracks are showing. Still pretty average fun

I had high expectations for this movie because I loved the first one. This movie is way too far fetched.

4k titles are getting hard to come bye. this is a keeper.
