If aliens were to truly invade earth, we'd be doomed. This action packed movie was amusing with a few moments of "I didn't know he/she was in this movie".

the incredible true and frightening story of the Deepwater Horizon catastrophe is brilliantly brought to life here. the special effects when the platform explodes are spectacular, especially on HD tv and disc. highly recommended.

This movie is a classic. The fact that movies now don't feel the same way as this film is just terrible. All of the newer generations should watch this.

If you don't have this movie yet then this is the version to get. If you bought the blu ray when it came out years ago it's worth the double dip

This was purchased to replace an older DVD to play on my new 4K TV. Beautiful picture. The 'limited addition' graphics picture was a cheap art card placed on top of the basic packaging. Buy it for the movie, not for the art. It is toss-able.

Newly restored, makes the movie look great, and all new Special Features make this is definitely a MUST HAVE for all Independence Day fans!

Plenty of nonstop action and fast paced story. But bought this to see if bluray quality would improve viewing. It did seem alot better quality v dvd.

I loved this movie growing up and this bluray remaster is NO JOKE. They really did a great job preserving this film for the next generation.

I hadn't seen this movie in a long time, and wanted to watch before the second one came out. It was a nice touch to have an anniversary edition.

You'll know whether you like the movie or not. I'm just saying the new 4K conversion is a definite upgrade with better detail blacks and colors.

Enjoy watching this sci-fi move. Plenty of action to keep me engage in the movie. Plenty of great actors coming together to make a great sci-if movie. I watch this one the sequel back to back which I greatly enjoyed.

Totally love this movie. Thought they did a great job explaining the loss of Will Smith. Love the digital copy that you get wth these movies.
