There are few summer blockbusters more engaging than this one; the film just works, even almost twenty years later. The Blu-ray, however, leaves a little to be desired - it's missing special features from Fox's previous "Five-Star" edition.

Great looking steelie at a great price. This is the same edition as the standard 2 disc 20th anniversary blu ray edition.

This is one of my favorite movies! Will Smith is hilarious and while it does have it's 90's cornball sort of moments, overall its a really fun movie!

This movie was a must own for me. I grew up watching it. It has everything you could want in a Hollywood movie! Tons of action and some laughs too!

Great classic movie from the 90s with Will Smith doing a great performance. It's a classic doomsday scenario with lots of fun throughout the whole thing.

This is a great movie and an excellent steelbook! I was tempted to buy it even though I owned the DVD. The 9.99 price was too tempting!

This new transfer manages to cpature, better than its predecesssor, the vividness of the original theatrical release. It also features better bonus materials and both the theatrical and director's-cut versions. Recommended.

What's not to love about this classic 90's end of world movie starring the Fresh Prince and Uncle Eddie? Still holds up today. Great film!

Great 4k visuals and sound. The way it was meant to be seen and heard

It was great watching this movie with my kids, who had never seen it. They loved it and it gave them a basis for the new independence day.

Independence Day is a classic movie, but now in 4K HDR. Visuals are OK for a 20 year old movie and the movie is just fun. This has the theatrical extended cuts plus audio commentaries, plus a bluray with special features.

Always enjoyed this movie. I have found myself collecting blu rays so the steel case was a nice touch

Good classic movie converted to Blu Ray, which makes me happy because HD is the only way to go. DVD's should be destroyed and everything made on Blu Ray.

Great movie. Took us back and it was just as good this time around as it was back when it came out. Funny how things may change, but they stay the same.

Thought I had this movie. Was wanting to watch it with friends. Went to two other store and neither had it. Glad Best Buy did!!!!
