The movie was not as good as the 1st one, but it's ok, I have to say that the 3d is very eye popping, I would definitely recommend this movie.

Great alien movie. Good action. Like the original Independence Day movie better but I would watch it again.

I was excited when I first heard about this due to my fondness for the 1996 original but I was a bit let down. While the cinematics and audio are top notch the story and acting are subpar.

I held off watching this for the longest time, but it ended up being pretty good. The original is still better. But this one was good too.

Aliens invade the Earth. Action packed. Edge of the seat drama. Jeff Goldblum does a great job in this flick. Special effects are out of this world.

This is a really fun addition to the original Independence Day movie. Fresh plot, better CGI, and it manages to bring back some of the original cast. Kudos!

This movie is such a over bloated sequel it is almost too over the top. How many times can the same people cheat death. Some deaths are also unrelated in it as well. Good rental movie.

I was hesitant to see this movie and my expectations were pretty low. However, I was genuinely surprised and content after viewing it. I enjoy it very much.

The concept that it takes place in the future ruins the movie..they kill off past film characters..the storyline is weak..the only thing good about this film is the action towards the end

This movie was mildly entertaining. It was nowhere near as good as the original. I would just wat h it on Netflix rather than buy it. Overall, it was decent but I can't recommend it.

I loved the first Independance day so if course was very excited for this one to come out. It simply rode on the coat tails of the first one. It is not bad but it is quite predictable.

Great DVD, The special effects are really good. The movie was better with will smith. The remake is ok. I would buy just to see the difference in the plot.

This was a gift for both my husband and son. They really liked it. They will be watching again. Because they have a few friends that want to come watch it.

I'll be perfectly honest. Not quite as great as the first one. This movie kept me entertained, and I laughed all the way through. I would still recommend it to my friends.

Next in the line of Independence Day alien invasions, would have liked it more with other of the original movie characters, but understand that they become high priced stars as well.

The critics bashed this movie as they did the first one. I look at the movies entertaining ability and this point was well met, just as the first one did.
