An other title worth adding to your library good for your home theater

I waited for this to come out on disc and didn't see it on the big screen. Wish I did it was 10 percent better than the original.

Loved the first one, so we must bought this to see how good it was. I really like it but my husband didn't like it so much. Guess it just depends on what you like.

I thought the first one would be hard to beat...but since they brought most of the original cast back, this one was amazing!

This movie wasn't as good as I expected. They took way too long to make a sequel and when they did it seemed outdated. The story line was interesting, the special effects were excellent (there should of been more), and it was kind of boring at times. The extra large alien queen was stupid and ruined the movie for me. The way they ended this movie opened it up for another sequel which could be good if they put there minds to it. I recommend to rent this movie not buy it. I feel like I wasted my money.

I was glad to see the movie. I did not get to see it in the theater when it came out. The movies is OK but not as good as the first movie.

I thought the movie was a little slow, and it seems to be missing the charm the original had. The end seems more like a Japanese monster movie, over all it was just ok.

One of my favorite movie franchises of all time, only sidenote is that Will Smith should have been in it.

This was a good movie. It had a decent amount of action and very good special effects. I thought it was better than the reviews suggested.

A seamless continuation of the first film. Storyline kept the audience engage with new and old characters. Good film for the whole family.

It’s a nice movie but not as good as the first movie. It “in my opinion “ would have been much better if Will Smith was in it. Still it’s a fun movie to watch!

The film was a big disappointment and was the most expensive film not screened for press. But decent FX and $4.99 for Blu-ray made it hard to pass ip.

So, after getting the original Independence Day on 4K, I also got Resurgence. It's a must-have as a pair of great Sci-fi movies.

This movie is great in action but does not live up to the first one. He does leave the door open for more so let's see if it gets better.

Totally not as good as the first one. Didn't really miss Will Smith but it was lacking in his kind of humor. I'm on the fence on this one. But if your bored watch it.

Film was a colossal disappointment, but the disc in 4K looks excellent. I recommend sticking with the original, which also looks good in 4K, and forget about this one.

I'm always skeptical of sequels as so often they don't hold a cancel to the original, but this one was very well done. Really enjoyed it!

This was a great movie filled with action and excitement. Little depressing Will Smith isn't in it, but stuff happens.

Movie was so so, I thought it would have been a lot better than what I had watched. Actors were amateur and I just thought the story line could have been much better.
