Great sequel from the first movie but incredible in 3D

I can see where the negative reviews are coming from, but its not that bad. This i think just get a bad rep becuase just too hard to top the original. 3D def adds to it, esp the shots done in space. Yeah though as i was watching, it was just missing that something else making it really stand out. All in all like the subject says, good but not great.

No spoilers in here! I was really looking forward to seeing this. Great that they had several links back to the original (inc. some of the actors). Lots of edge-of-the-seat action throughout. As to the product, the packaging is as expected, and nice that they included the mobile/digital version so I can put this on my tablet for watching offline.

Bought for my husband for Christmas. He loved the movie!!

I love this movie, action packed and keeps you guessing

But still a good action movie. I was so excited for this one to come out, because I enjoyed the first one so much. I didn't see it in the theater, but I was looking forward to buying the DVD. There was lots of action and great effects, but it still left a little disappointment after the first one was so good. Not worth buying, but worth renting.

Amazing movie, looks even better in 4K! Must have!

This movie has a fun plot and some returning characters, but the brand new characters hold this movie back. I wish they went with less young/obscure actors and brought in some more well known and older actors. Great sci-fi story in my opinion, though. A lot more sci-fi than the first one.

If you liked the first one, you will love this one.

Independence Day: Resurgence is a spectacular show.

Just the correct mix of comedy and with serious stuff not neglected either . And who knows it might be closer to being true than we know ! You better grab all the 3D stuff now as it might all fade away again one more time ? How they make you feel like you are right there in the movie is just incredible . All my friends are using my back up tv sets as i haven't the room for them all . They are all taking turns watching these 3D movies i collect , this disk was no different in its ability's to the others i bought from Best Buy , Just great science Fiction Period ! You think you might need to duck to get out of the way !
