Nowhere near as good as the original which just had that wow factor back in the day. Not terrible but don't go in expecting a movie as good as the 1st

Really enjoyed this movie. Had right amount of attention to older characters while being able to focus on a new generation.

This move had a lot of misses with out some of the bigger players from the first and the one they did use should have not bothered to act in this film.

liked the movie ,though ,will smith missing ,made it hard to really enjoy ,BUT THE 3D EFFECTS helped to get us through it .

No as much action or suspense as the first one. Defeating the aliens was too easy unlike the first movie. And Wil Smith wasn't in the movie.

I found this is the as good as the first movie. Would had been better if they could have got Will Smith to do this one also

This is ok as a one time view, but it is nowhere near as good as the first one. I felt bored during certain portions of the movie. Ok to pass some time.

Never seen it but just bought it because I wanted to see in in theaters which I didn't so I bought it and it was ok just I know they can make it better

This movie's plot played out like the last movie but with a more updated graphics and stunning cinematography. I must see!

Good Story to follow up on Independence Day, but has a pretty unbelieveable plot for the battle. That we win is unlikely.

Best buy supercedes my service expectations as always, however the movie itself was not as entertaining as the first. Worth one watch, but not to own.

all your favorite characters are back minus will smith and some new faces 20 years later to wage war again with the aliens

I thought this movie was ok. Not as good as the first one.I liked it that it had some of the actors from the first one. It just didn't pick up for me.

It's 4K and Independence Day! Of course you don't have all the same players, but its a good story and keeps you engaged!

I liked the movie just as much as the original. Some of the original stars were in this sequel and helped make the movie.
