very good movie, good photography, action suspense and drama, good sound, good price, good quality.

Good effects, but kind of a tired plot line based on the first movie from 20 years ago. Would have been better if Will Smith had been in it.

The long awaited sequel. Updates on how more humanity / military has learned from the 4th go July Alien encounter. It is ashame that Will smith was not included in this 2nd film. Everyone else from the 1st film who was still alive was 20 years older, and their kids were the new hero's. I really like the film, And I preordered the Steel Book from Best Buy when it became available.

Good movie, lots of action, some a little far out, like the first movie. Good actors, good script, doesn't leave much for another episode.

Not the best movie, basically an updated version of the original. But this is a great movie from a visual standpoint to display 4K and HDR.

Good story how they picked up 30 years from the first one. Great special effects and CGI. Little thin on plot compared to first one though.

I bought this movie just to see the quality and it is amazing. So clear and defined. Anyone who has upgraded to a new 4K tv will love this!

The action started a little too soon and didn't leave room for character development. But, otherwise a reasonable continuation of the plot.

Movie is ok if you love special effects and action. picks up where the first movie ended. they brought back some recognizable characters.

If you just watch the movie for itself and not as a sequel then it is worth watching. If you compare it to the first one then it is so so.

Decent film, only bought it early because of the steelbook, but it's stupid you don't get your points unless you review the stuff you buy

It's been 20 years since Independence Day hit theaters and ruled the box office. Lightning does not strike twice as this new film got beaten up by critics and audiences alike. It's not a bad film, but it is kind of lazy. There's a lot of recycled material here and it makes me want to go back and watch the original. Picked it up for $5 so I don't feel terrible about the purchase. It looks and sounds nice.

It is a good movie. It could have been better. The action was very good and the story was well written. It just wasn't a must see movie.

Very good movie. Better than the first one. Perfect Family movie for everyone. Enjoyed every minute. Waiting for the next followup movie.

I know this movie has been panned for so many reasons but I really enjoyed it. The 4K UHD edition is the way to watch it as long as you have the right setup. The HDR in this film really does add some extended color and the Dolby Atmos soundtrack is worth the price of purchase on its own. Highly recommend for HT enthusiasts that have a awesome setup that they want to show off.

The movie was good if you weren't expecting too much. The graphics lowered the movie quality since the aliens were so "unrealistic".
