Bought this to check out the new UHD-DVD player...fun movie and the quality is noticeably better than the up-scaled blu-ray.

Movie was a good one, not as good as the first one. This one did have a bit more cleaner acts considering the younger crowd.

Definitely initially has the feel of a sequel, but entertaining in its own right. Interesting story line and engaging plot

Unlike the first one, I have never seen this movie. I saw the first one at a drive in in July when it was brand new and on VHS countless times growing up. I love that Jeff and Bill and even Data, I mean Brent were in the sequel. In fact, the best recurring character was Jeff Goldblum's dad. He was the only one that seemed sane in this movie. 4K is definitely the way to go though!

While critics are not real excited about the second version of Independence Day, it really wasn't bad at all. Take a chance.

Considering that Will Smith was absent from the film, still really enjoyed the movie with the guilty pleasure sic-fi action

Enjoyed the movie there was some progression through the movie however several scenes were rehashed from the original movie

Took a while, but still fun with all major player (minus Will Smith) back. Cheesy in places, but still good for nostalgia.

Independence Day Resurgence was like seeing old friends again. A little older and a bit predictable but still a good watch

I wanted the Blu Ray version but Best Buy was out of them. The standard version has good video quality with no choppiness.

I love the original, so I had to make this a part of collection. Being Blu-ray really helps put you in the movie.

Basically the same movie as the first one. Almost the exact same cast plus new young blood. Worth a watch.
