Bringing back Dr Okun was genius especially when he unlocks the Sphere. Great tribute to Russell Cass from the first movie when President Whitmore pilots a alien fighter with a bomb up into the alien mothership to blow up the queen. .

This movie is as good as the original and maybe a little bit better. Granted Will Smith had to miss this movie, But his absence is explained nicely. If you liked the 1st ID then you will like this movie.
