A great sequel storyline with some familiar characters and call backs to the original move. Despite 20 years of advancements since the first movie it is still missing something to take it the next step.

I really enjoyed the first movie Independence Day and The Resurgence was just as thrilling to watch. It kept you on the edge of your seat throughout most of the movie!!!

What a awesome deal i was able to get this movie for on Black Friday. Best Buy always give great pricing on there products. I do not shop at any store for my DVD movies.

It answers some questions for after the first movie. Like the stuff they added. High expectations for the next one. Could have been much more fulfilling with some parts.

One thing I love about Best Buy sold movies are they carry the most Steelbook movies. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Will continue to buy my movies from them.

After 20 years they really did a good job continuing the storyline. I thought the plot was really interesting and the cliffhanger even better. Hope to see a part 3 soon.

The movie was good but not as great as the first one was. However the video resolution and sound was great. Plus you can't have the first one without having the sequel.

Saw it for the first time on our Samsung 4K UHD TV: great reproduction! Picture was crisp and clear, and the movie was entertaining. I will purchase more 4K UHD movies.

A fun pizza night movie, takes the alien invasion from the first movie and blows it up to an even grander scale, with the mothership spanning whole continents

Excellent sequel to the original...long time in the making but worth the wait. Great special effects! Good to see many of the original characters back for this story...

This movie was okay. I was expecting something a little more different, but it almost seems like watching the first one. I think Will Smith was smart not to partake in this one. Overall it was decent.

This movie was definitely not the original. There was a lot to get used to in the beginning of the movie, with very little character development. But by the end, we were pretty decently into the movie.

Saw first Independence Day and was wowed by special effects,this ones even better. Storyline is good maybe a little corny but what the heck I'm in it for the effects.

Although I enjoyed this movie, I don't believe it lives up to the first one. I do hope they re-master the first movie in 4K because the picture quality is incredible.

Was looking for a movie to test the HDR capabilities of a new Blu-ray player and TV. This was a good movie to pick. The story was OK and the visuals were spectacular.

Even without Will Smith this movie rocks! 20 years after the original invasion, they're back and we have to kick some butt once again. Very exciting movie. Get it now.
