I think you will really enjoy this action packed movie. Even you haven't seen the first one, this one would still be great to see. It is great for an evening at home.

let's just say the original was soooo much better. the beginning is a real snooze fest but it picks up enough at the end to make it watchable. wish I had rented it, instead of purchased it.

While I thought with this being a new movie, I was hoping to be blown away by it in 4K. However if you are wanting a true 4K UHD first movie, I'd recommend picking something that has HDR on the box.

Was great to watch this movie and see the characters again. And to watch the aliens get creamed. Sorry for the spoiler, the the ride to that point is good.

Independence Day resurgence is not a purchase. Go out and buy the 1st Independence Day you'll be more pleased with your purchase. Out of 5 stars I give independence Day resurgence a 2.

"Enjoyed the sequel" a phrase that is not always able to be said. Especially liked the veiled references to the first movie and loved the continuity between the two.

Seen this movie in 3D at the theater. So when it came up for sale. I had to have it for my 3D Blu-ray collection. Really awesome movie to watch on my 3D TV

good movie, kind of expected what would happen in the movie but it was still good. left some hints in the movie making you think there will be one more to be made.

This movie is not great, but it is fun. It's a good movie to put on and have some popcorn while getting away from the world for a bit. It's just dumb fun. Give it a try if you enjoyed the original.

Watching this makes me long for the original movie. The first cast was great with Wil Smith truly being the star. Not a bad movie just a little bit of a let down from the first.

My wife and I really liked this movie and we were happy when I was able to purchase it, at a good price, from BestBuy and add it to our movie collection.

I had to purchase to see what happens in part 2 of the series. Interesting how the movie develops along with its characters. I plan on watching several more times.

It was so very good to see most of the original cast in this long overdue sequel. Let's hope we don't have to wait so long to see them take the fight to the aliens!

The first Independence Day was an absolute classic. This iteration was average. If you haven't already seen it, I wouldn't go out of your way to buy it. Just watch it whenever Netflix streams it.

Not quite as humorous as the first one without Will Smith's deadpan expressions, but overall, this was a great movie filled with action and amazing cinematography.

I really enjoyed the movie. I thought it laid a great foundation for future sequels. Hopefully, the rumors of indefinite halting production of sequels is not true!

DVD's and CD's are my preferred method of media, and this movie is a good one to add to collection

If you are hoping this will be like the original, you will be mistaken. Jeff Goldblum is the man though! He needs to keep acting in films. Worth the watch once if someone else is paying for it.
