I enjoyed this movie as much as the 1st one if not better. Loved the returning characters, and the new characters. Hoping and looking for a third Independence Day

Beautiful looking film. It is kind of lack luster as a follow up to the original. I like that they did tie the two films together in the plot somewhat.

Good movie. Decent sequel. The 4K with hdr looks amazing and the Dolby Atmos really fills the room. Make the viewing/listening experience much more enjoyable

Look this was definitely not the first movie now having said that it was also not as bad as everyone was making it out to be. If you liked the first one then this is definitely worth a watch.

The first movie was better. No Will Smith. I never have high expectations of sequels. This one is a good example of why. Someone was thinking about making money more than making a good movie.

Hate to be a spoiler to anyone who picked pt.2 up. Really was good as the first. Just would of made the movie complete if "Will" was in it.

It was worth the wait for the sequel. Also having a digital as well as DVD with the Blu-ray was a plus and the price right now is great for this combo!

If you just want eye candy and not great acting or plot line this movie is for you. I like 3D action movies, especially sci-fi so I got it. Wished it was better but it's in the collection now.

Definitely a letdown when compared with the first movie. It does further the plot, but for some reason the movie just didn't grab me. I'm glad I only paid five bucks for it.

Great alien movie. Good action. Like the original Independence Day movie better but I would watch it again.

Unfortunately the film falls into the "not as good as the first one" category. Not sure how to explain it...it's almost as if the "wow" factor just wasn't there anymore.

This is a long-time favorite movie at our home and when we saw it at a great price, we knew had to pick it up to replace the DVD copy we had.

Some movies don't need sequels. The first Independence Day didn't. That said, it's worth watching for the effects. The storyline is a bit predictable and Will Smith is conspicuously missing.

A good movie to watch. Continuing to defend the Planet, keeping the story alive of Aliens wanting Earth. A new saga of people not giving up the Peace on Earth.

so much to set up with character stories and background to each character that this was basically just a action movie from start to finish with little story line..... guys movie definitely ;

This movie had a tremendous amount of special effects which added interest to the story. I liked how the story also involved actors from the original movie.

Movie lacked the zip of the original but I can't resist alien movies. Blu-ray helped to bring all the pixels to life on my 62" the without degrading quality.

The movie was not as good as the 1st one, but it's ok, I have to say that the 3d is very eye popping, I would definitely recommend this movie.
