This sequel is not quite as good and the first, but it's still a good movie to watch. I think they were trying too hard to match the first movie. Without Will Smith, it just wasn't to be. Thank you Best Buy for having it in 3D!! The Only way to watch!!! Thank you Best Buy for your video section!! I'm dependent on you for my home entertainment. Please DON'T STREAM!! Streaming is good as far as it goes, however you're totally dependent on someone else's server!! That gives them way too much power on what you watch!! I want a hard copy in my hand!!!

If you're wanting to sit down and watch a good popcorn movie, this is it. It doesn't do the greatest job elaborating on the main plotline as the original movie, but it is definitely a good visual movie. Great for surround sound.

Might be my imagination, but the colors do appear crisper, sharper and brighter in 4K. The big difference is in the sound, it's fuller, deeper, and does surround you. It seems to make for a more enjoyable viewing.

Without spoiling anything, there are certain things regarding returning characters that I would've made better, but overall I liked it. I was actually not expecting much, considering sequels almost never live up to the hype.

It's a great movie, I ordered online and chose in store pickup I was just so excited for it. They had it ready in an extremely timely manner! Very polite and helpful as well. The movie was wonderful, and nicely packaged.

The movie is full of action and saving the world. However, it doesn't quite live up to the first Independence Day. That's the problem with many sequels. We still found the movie entertaining and would watch it again.

If you like the first one you'll definitely want to see the second the only drawback is that Will Smith is not in it but he is mentioned from his character by his son but this one explains more of what happened from the first

Wanted to catch it in theaters but didn't. Turned out to be a decent sequel. There are a few plot holes and continuation errors in the movie. But overall good movie. Ending leads one to believe in another coming soon.

Action, space, aliens; what's not to love! I thought it was great to have most of the original cast reprise their original roles. Hope it does well and the studio doesn't wait another 20 years for third installment, haha.

I liked some of the relate backs to the first movie. It seemed lacking a little without Will Smith, but it was a decent follow up. It would be nice to see one with more Alien interaction....maybe the next one.

id4 2 is a decent movie,no w. smith, not sure he needed to be, the story is ok,acting abit better, fx are pretty good,its a complete popcorn movie,if interested in anything but slow story and decent action this is for you

If you liked the other Independent’s Days , you will like this one as well ! It’s a much watch for everyone one that liked that style of a movie . I know my wife and I enjoyed it and glad we purchased it.

For a sequel of this franchise Will Smith was definitely missed. I thought the plot could of been better. Being a fan of the 1st movie I was a bit disappointed. Awsome effects and use of the original cast was enjoyable

A fun movie to watch; not as good as the original but still fun. The best part is actually at the end, which sets up a third movie as well. Hopefully this movie does well enough that the third movie is actually made...

not as good as the first one but after all did anyone expect it to be hard to review a movie without giving stuff away so i would say if you liked the first one check it out just dont expect to like this one as much

It is definitely not as good as the first Independence Day, but it is a fun weekend flick! Tons of action and good graphics. Not the best script or acting, but again, it's a fun weekend popcorn flick!

I enjoyed this one for what it was but not as close as the first. Make sure you leave your brain at the door before going into this and just enjoy the sci-fi. The 4K is is good but not reference quality

Watch the first movie, read the book Independence Day: Crucible, and then enjoy this movie. Feel the connections and await the possibility of yet another sequel. Where there is one ship, there are always more.

This version of Independence Day isn't bad but doesn't beat the original. But they do bring in some of the original cast members to do a reprise. There are some cheesy lines but the special effects make up for it.

The characters weren't developed and if you hadn't seen the first movie -!wiuld have no idea what was going on. The original is in my top 5 of all time - this remake falls in the bottom 5. Very disappointed
