While this long awaited sequel to Independence Day is not as good as the original, it is still very worthwhile to purchase this DVD. Almost all original characters are back except for Will Smith.

This is a good action movie, well done in all respects. But I somehow just felt that it missed something. I recommend it, but just know I think the first original one was the better of the two.

I was hoping for a good sequel to the awesome independence day original. This movie disappoints. So not sure if it is worth owning the DVD. Purchase from best buy was good as always. Thanks

We recently bought a 3D tv, blu Ray player, and receiver. This movie is awesome in 3D! It's tough to out do the first movie but, this sequel held its own, even with the absence of Will Smith.

Film had plenty of action and kept up the expectations from the original film. The Steelbook edition adds more value with a collection touch that looks great in my personal film library.

When I saw the first part, I thought the second part will be ok, but it really got my attention. They did amazing job. If you like first part, you would like second part.

Had a great time in the theater when I saw this movie the first time – it's a very silly movie, and gleefully dumb, but a lot of fun. The 4K UHD presentation is stunning and worth every penny.

Movie was really good. Interesting way they continued the story from the first ID4. Still wish Will Smith could have reprised his role but the cast was done very well. Good CGI and good story.

Bought this 4k movie to test out my 4k TV. Wow! I was blown away by the colors and brilliance of the picture. The movie was pretty good, although I liked the first one better

I had to upgrade my DVD to Blu-ray for my extensive movie collection! This movie sequel was enjoyable to watch after the 1st. was done some 20 years ago! Some of the original cast were major players in this sequel! Picture quality is great in HD along with the DTS-HD 7.1 audio sound! Included is the DVD and Digital HD (valid thru 10-18-19)! Lots out extra's including deleted and behind the scenes! Highly recommended! Purchased this 2 disc set from BB for under $9.00, great price!

I enjoyed watching this movie because of the acting, action and cinematography in it. The animation and sci-fi were superbly done. I do believe that many will enjoy watching this feature film.

This movie was ok, it could have been better. I don't like reviews because all I look for in a movie is 1.5 to 2 hours of escape, some movies the time flies, but this one dragged a little bit.

...still worth owning for the sale price. Good special effects, and a decent follow-up story to the original. A popcorn film - nothing more, nothing less. Quality transfer.

The title says it all. The first movie was one of a kind. This felt like a direct rip off of the first one without the star power of Will Smith. Its good....just not as good as the first.

Watching this movie in 3D is solid but certainly not necessary. I don't think it added much to the experience and the film itself is a far cry from the original.

Not bad but not totally awesome. It was just another Independence Day movie with a different plot twist to it. I was not totally disappointed but not completely blown away by it neither.

I didn't expect much from this film since Will Smith didn't appear in the film but the action was alt better than I thought. If youre a fan of the original I'd give this one a shot as well

Great movie for action. I loved the original movie. This one seemed a little rushed and forced. The storyline was not there and just didn’t come at me like the original movie

Ordered as an open box item for the very good discount. Like the flexable location and sound quality. Setup and wireless connection were easy. Had it delivered and shipping was very quick.

This movie is a great way too update the original. While it is not a remake, it is just like the first but with an updated epic feel. If you liked the first, you'll like this one as well.
