Best movie I've seen in a long time. Full of action

I would recommend this movie to someone who has not seen it.

I really enjoyed the first movie released in this series. This movie was a bit of a letdown because I expected it to be more of the same. Characters seemed shallow, storyline lacking, and no real big well known actors like the first. Disapointed!

The movie? Not so much. This movie is the embodiment of "sequels are never as good as the original". As a sequel, it stinks. As a standalone movie, it stinks. "Popcorn movies" aren't known for their acting, and they shouldn't be. They are big, explosive action movies. That being said, when the acting and dialogue is SO terrible that it's distracting, that's a problem. $9.99 is a nice price for a 3D movie, but do yourself a favor and skip this one.

This is without a doubt the worst movie sequel I've ever had the displeasure to see. As soon as it was over I dumped it in the trash. The only script more juvenile than this was Avatar. Both an insult to one's intelligence. The only positive comment I can make about this travesty is the audio and video were excellent. Other than that rent it before buying before shelling out more money.

Really liked the first Independence Day and was looking forward to this one. It was very disappointing.

Watching this movie was like (Nails on a chalk board). The directing and acting was terrible. Sometimes I will watch a B movie, but this was almost as bad as Star Wars episodes 1-3.
