I was really surprised that this movie was actually watchable as most remakes aren't. Drags a little at the end, but would have a great follow up movie if that's what they decided to do.

I purchased the 4K UHD disk and used the redemption code and watched on VUDU on my 4K Sony with a Sony sound bar system and it was awesome. Had to pause it to make popcorn. again awesome

20 years have passed and we have done some rebuilding/advancement, but of course yet another Alien ship wipes out the U.S. east coast and some of Europe. Good flix but not the original.

It was fun to watch the sequel of the original, but it's a shame that Will Smith wasn't in it and it could have been better. More character development was needed.

Does not resonate with me at least as much as the original movie did but impressive in how many members of the original cast they were able to bring back and use in a convincing fashion.

Nothing would ever come close to the original, but this movie had it's moments and was definitely worth buying and watching. Looking forward to watching it again in the future.

I was a big fan of the first movie and this movie picks up 20 years later. I think it's a good sequel. I think the big alien was a little much but other then that it was action packed.

I was very excited when they was coming out with a sequel to this movie. After watching it, I wasn't mind blown like the previous movie but it's a decent movie to add to your collection

The quality of the picture, detail, and detail is very good. There is lots of action and a little romance. Many of the original cast have return rolls making a happy reunion. Everything is bigger starting with the special effects and weapons. The government is still full of blunders but fortunately the heroes are able to put up the good fight. In many ways, this is very much like the first movie. But here, we learn about a much bigger universe and what it holds for mankind. My review ends here so as not to give away to much. The story had a slew of cameo appearances by cast members of the first film in the series. Wish Will Smith and Margaret Colin had returned. The 3D is GREAT and will show off the new TV!

We both enjoyed watching this new version of the classic ID which came out years ago. Sound effects are excellent and the entertainment value makes it stand out on BR. Enjoy!

i'm a fan of alien invasion movies in general, so this was an exciting experience for me in the movie theater. With a gift certificate, I got the movie for $4.50 at BB, so no big loss.

Was very excited to watch it when I heard the news but after seeing it, it wasn’t as great as I had hoped for. But if you are a fan of the movies then go for it.

Of course, we are not supposed to compare this one with the original movie released back to 1996. Still, it is able to keep us awake while watching this movie. Good special effects.

A decent follow up to the exciting movie we watched 20 years ago. This one has better special-effects even though the storyline is kind of silly. But watch it in 3-D, is much better.

If the first movie was not played, this would have been welcomed much better. The graphics are great , bunch of new actors, and the story is different from the title.

I was glad to see some of the original characters return in their roles as a bridge to future adventures. Got to learn more about them and looking forward to additional installments.

The movie is not as bad as people say. If you enjoyed the original, there is no reason not to enjoy this. Not sure if its theatrical performance will kill the sequel, but I hope not.

It was definitely entertaining, but it wasn't what I expected the sequel to be like. It didn't live up to the high standards of the first film, but it was definitely good to watch.

I wasn't expecting too much after the subpar reviews this movie has received online. But give it a chance. It was quite good and the ending may mean another sequel. Worth the price.
