The original Independence Day was better than this one. This one is ok if you have never seen the first one, otherwise this is a good movie to have for a collection

This sequel continues the alien invasion drama. Some of the same stars return and after lots of action (spoiler alert) the planet is saved. It's still a great ride.

This movie is okay and Black Friday deal made a bit sweeter to own this movie. The previous Independence Day movie was a bit better than this.

But I still liked this movie. I felt the story was a bit of a stretch and it's too bad that Will Smith was working on another project, but over I still enjoyed it.

This was better than I expected from a sequel. The 4K was excellent quality as well as the Digital Sound quality. If you have a 4K setup you won't be disappointed.

Cool movie, I loved the original. My only criticism, obviously, was Will Smith wasn't in this one. Great special effects, especially the 4k. Great sound too.

Loving the fact that due to my new Xbox One S I can finally watch UHD movies which my UHD tv could always do but nothing else at the time was capable! This movie is epic just like the first Independence Day movie with almost the whole cast excluding Will Smith which is a bummer, but they pay respect to his character and move the story along! Great fighter pilot space shootem up movie with tons of action! Highly recommended!

It wasn't bad at all. Much better than I expected. I thought without Will Smith , it would have been terrible . Not the case here. I would recommend to a friend .

However, I kept wishing that Will Smith came back to take part in the movie. Great special effects, great movie. It's definitely a movie that I will watch again.

The DVD played when I inserted it into my player. The director did a good job of including characters from the previous movie, but this one was not as good.

I enjoyed this movie. It wasn't as good as the original but stood as a good sequel. A little dissapointed they probably won't make another since it did so badly.

While this movie had a great cast and an excellent budget for decent special effects, it came up short in the store line. Let's see if the next one fares better.

The first one is a classic, this one not so much. Another alien invasion movie but this time will Smith can’t save this movie. The steelbook is decent.

This sequel was a long time in the making bringing back some of the original cast helped some. But I think the special effects made the movie, just my opinion.

Movie not as good as the first one, but great follow up to the first one. Loved the sound and visual effects. Much cleaner movie in reference to language, etc.

It won't win an Oscar for BEST Picture, but it sure was fun to watch. Jeff Goldblum and Bill Pullman are pack 20 years later, but so are the aliens. Great CGI.

Never saw the movie in the theaters so this was a blind buy for me. It was not as good as the original but with that said most movies don't make a good repeat.

Not a bad movie, plenty of nostalgic nods to independence day. Overall not bad but could have been less monster movie and more of a world wide disaster movie.

I re-watched the original & then this one. I liked the characters who returned & their new roles. Some of the original memorable lines came up in the new film!

Really fun and action packed movie! I liked the first ID4 a bunch and found the special effects much better in this one. Love the cool Steelbook packaging too!
