This movie wasn't as bad as I feared it would be with out Will Smith in it so if you liked the first one give this one a chance.

20 years for an unnecessary sequel. I only bought it to complete my collection.

If your a fan of Independence Day, then you'll want to add Independance day: Resurgence to your collection. Good action flick.

This is a good movie in its own way but it lacks the umph of the first movie. Its another good will smith movie but not great.

My copy includes 3D viewing. It was fantastic! Nice touch meeting the grown-up children of the original film's protagonists, along with characters from the original. Although some character casualties were a given (especially the original characters) I felt it was a well-written, well-acted film. Definitely recommend it!!

I did enjoy this remake wish they would have retained some of the actors. altogether it is still a good movie to watch and own

this one is in 3 d so it is worthy of having for that reason alone. not quite as good as the first one tho.

If you are a fan of the previous movie, you should give this a chance. It's not as good as the first movie, but decent enough.

This is an OK movie. Not in the same league as the original, though, which was run and rerun too many times to count...still passing the test of time with each loading. This one has been played twice. The only way it gets loaded for a third time is if my kids come home for a visit and want to see it. Otherwise, it will stay where it's at on the shelf. Like I said, not bad, I'd recommend it, but not highly.

I honestly believe it could of been better with more of a plot and had more action. But for the way it was written i liked it.

The movie is okay...very cliche, but if you go in knowing that, then it's still good fun. Comes with digital download

The DVD is clean and sounds good. The movie plot is not so good so depends if you want a good movie or good sound and vision.

a good attempt for a sequel. story just not par with original plot. unable to explain sufficiently how dead came back to life.

I bought this expecting a cheesy summer action flick, and thats what i got. I had fun watching it though

If you liked the 1st movie you will like this on. Good action but the story line is not a whole lot different from the first.

The story had some credibility gaps and did not connect emotionally like the first,, but fun to watch in Ultra HD on a 4K TV

played all of them yet. I don't like the fact that you tell me how many characters I have to write so I hope this is enough.
