Sequels have a bad reputation of not being as good as the first one, and this falls into the category. The best part of the film was the special effects, they didn't disappoint, but the acting was stale as well as the plot of the movie. But if you're a fan of the first movie, it's worth watching at least once, even if it's just to see what has happened to the characters after 20 years.

A lot of reviewers and others disliked this film. However, I found the film to be entertaining. The banter from Brent Spiner's character added some timely humor to the film. Jeff Godblum was his usual quirky self which also added to the film. The photography and special effects were excellent and these added to the very good presentation.

Not bad, but it's missing something ,after all its 20 year later, i expected more. Ok for movie night one time only.

Love it in 4K but Im a really big fan of 3D. Its always a toss up between the two, wish they'd package them together!

Good was expecting more but good no Will though. The big question will through with the other movie

This movie can't be compared to the classic independent day but it was very close. A must watch , must have movie.

Although the sequel to the original Independence Day did not have the same "awe factor" as the original, it still is a great film in its own right and is definitely more impressive in 4K.

This is an incredibly fun sequel and what more can you say about the steelbook case? It's a must by for any ID4 fan!

Movie as a whole was not great but the movie's special effects in 4K were excellent and worth the purchase in 4K.
