This was a okay movie. The ending was just okay to me, it was good for one time.

good quadrilogy, exciting and heart pounding family fun

I used a $5 coupon to buy Raiders of the Lost Ark because it had a digital copy but only for iTunes which I didn't know.

The dvd is not protected properly. It is protected by the paper movie illustration insert. This illustration insert is easily damaged when shipped. The case has a recycling symbol on it that is cut out from the case on both sides. Best Buy do better or should I take my business to Amazon.

I buy movies for the digital codes. This one was Expired and worthless to me.

Great zombies but the story was good but the ending suck, didn't have a good ending was dry story

I bought it because I like the film and the digital copy but didn't know till later that only works for iTunes if I would have known In would not have brought the film.

The code expired in 2015. Disappointing. This should be noted when purchasing.

Chances are that you already know that this is a highly entertaining popcorn movie classic that spawned one of the most popular American movie action-adventure movie trilogies of its time (I prefer to act as if the disappointing and unnecessary Crystal Skull outing never happened), so all I need to tell you is how the Blu-ray transfer looks on this disc. I haven’t seen the movie look this good since I saw it back in the theater in the early 1980s. I didn’t notice any issues with the transfer and fortunately there’s not excessive use of DNR to artificially smooth over the picture (which notoriously ruined a Blu transfer of Arnold’s action blockbuster Predator and some other big titles). The only down side to this stand-alone release is that the only extras are a few trailers & re-release trailers. If you want behind-the-scenes & interviews, you’ll have to get the Complete Adventures boxset, which has a bonus disc of supplementary materials, including some Hi-Def making-of material of Raiders that wasn’t on the old trilogy dvd boxset. If all you need is a really good-looking Blu-ray transfer of the film itself, this is the way to go. This is probably my favorite film of the Indy Jones trilogy, followed by Last Crusade and then Temple of Doom, but they’re All a blast!

This is a great movie. I loved watching all the Indiana Jones movies as a kid. This movie has adventure, humor, and lots of action. There is even romance in the movie for the women. Harrison Ford is also a terrific actor and does well acting in this movie as a treasrure hunter. Even though the movie is an older movie if you haven't watched it in years like myself it is like you are watching it for the first time. It will keep you guessing whats going to happen next. This is a great movie to watch with your kids of appropriate age. Also, if you have any kind of surround sound equipment, dolby digital adds more enjoyment in watching this movie. It has very good surround sound for its age. I would recommend this movie to anyone who likes action and adventure.

Raiders of the Lost Ark is quite possibly the best adventure film ever made. The now iconic character, the brainchild of George Lucas and Steven Spielberg, is a wonderful amalgamation of your classic dashing, tough, and yet, intellectual hero. Practically every character is dripping with...well, character. Dialogue is sharp and witty. Action sequences are thrilling with incredibly inventive choreography. The film just never seems to have an off-beat throughout its runtime. Simply put, adventure films just can't get any better. The blu-ray's audio/visual presentation are certainly in keeping with the film's quality. At times, you would almost believe this is a film shot today as the color and clarity are that spectacular. The audio is no slouch either delivering some surprising bass for a film of its age and John William's score absolutely shines.

This is the movie that launched a franchise.Indiana Jones(Harrison Ford) is an archeologist.We first see him in the Peruvian jungle in 1936,running thur a booby-trapped (complete with an oversized rolling boulder) temple to retrive a solid-gold idol.He loses the artifact to his chief rival,a French archeologist named Belloq(Paul Freeman).This movie has some great setpieces with music,and characters.In the movies third and final act where they open the Ark Of The Covenant.Steven Spielberg has an eye for detail,along with the screen writers making the film work up till the credits start to roll.If you were born in the 80's or just have an eye for old movies than this is a classic.

Since Raiders of the Lost Ark was released before blu-ray I no longer had a copy of it in my collection of favorite movies. At this price there was no way I was not going to add it back to my movies. I recommend it to anyone else that missed having it.

When you think classic awesometacular action and adventure movies this is the definition of it! John Williams music is fantastic! When you are on the movie menu and the Indiana Jones theme is playing you won't get annoyed at all! The movie is great, Harrison Ford is awesome in this movie and you will sit on the edge of your seat the whole time!

This film is the first of a trilogy that could be considered one of the best ever. Also it has Harrison Ford who also stars in another trilogy Star Wars. This has a really cool action chase scene near the end with a trucks and jeeps when he's trying to rescue the Ark from "German Soldiers".

Looks great in HD and you can watch anywhere with the digital copy. A classic that everyone should see at least once in their life. Giant boulders, snakes, ancient tombs, the lost Ark, and a wisecracking, bull whip wielding, hairy chested Harrison Ford in his prime. Great movie! HD copy is the cherry on top.
