One of the best of the original Trilogy! The great adventures all began with this action packed thriller. It pits the honest academic endevors of Indiana Jones against the treacherous evils of the times that are bent on world conquest, fame and riches.

If you were a fan of the original Indiana Jones and film in general, than this is certainly a worthy purchase. With a conversion that maintains the texture of the film rather than going for a "clearer" picture, this release fairs far better than some of Universal's other blu rays such as Back to the Future. Not much in the way of special features (a new commentary might've been nice) but is a solid addition to any movie classics library.

There is just something magical about Spielberg movies. This one is perhaps his crown jewel. It features a great story, thrilling action sequences, and brilliant comic relief. A movie for all-ages and one that everyone must see at least once.

Because this movie is set in the past, it will never seem like an old movie. The visual effects are great! I bought this so I could show my son a great film in a few years. I want him to see what good movies were like.

Harrison Ford is one of my favorite actors and when the Indiana Jones series came out I was over joyed. I love the action and just how it envolves just a little bit of everything and still is a wholesome movie!

Not a lot can be said here other than, if you have not seen this movie, you need to. This is a timeless action adventure movie that should be required viewing for any action cinema fan. Looks fantastic in Blu-ray.

This is the first in the series, so the most classic. I love Harrison Ford in these movies, and the plot and action are great. It definately keeps you interested throughout and is a good movie to own for a video library.

The movie has a great storyline, it's funny, and it's a classic. The picture is also great and crisp. It comes with a digital copy which if you have an Apple account, that's where it will show up.

I had never seen this film before and bought it on a whim. I watched it yesterday and was very entertained. Some great action sequences and good chemistry between the two leads. Highly recommended!

The Blu-Ray version of this movie is amazingly clear. This is a must get if you appreciate the extra details blu-rays provide. My wife is a huge Harrison Ford fan and she loves this movie!

This is the best Indy movie. Spielberg, and I guess if Lucas was ever a good writer it would have been here, was at the top of his game when he made this. Movie magic. Whip!!! Hya!!!...Tanis!!!...Salah!!!

Original Indy. The one that started it all, the one that put us on the path for the awesomeness that was Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (sIke). Best Indy film.

Great movie made even better on BR. Only thing that would make this better would be if it also came with a UV code (this product comes with iTunes only).

I never bought any of the movies in this trilogy, now that its available individually, i will buy them all. Great movie from start to finish.

As I have watch this movie many times, the Blu-ray version is the best yet for picture quality and sound. A must have for Indiana Jones Fans!

This classic throwback to 30's era serials still holds up after 30 years, and the blu-ray transfer makes it even better. Harrison Ford is at the peak of his game creating a brand new hero for the ages.
