Second worst Indy movie!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the second worst Indy movie. the worst was Crystal Skull. This movie is definitely worth watching but it pales in comparison to Raiders and Crusade. Still a solid Spielberg/Lucas film but gets a little boring. Blu Ray quality is awesome.

Not the Best, But Still Fun
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is not my favorite of the Indiana Jones films, but this prequels offers just the right amount of fun and thrills with absolutely dynamite picture and sound.

The Follow-up
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was a disappointing follow up to Raiders. It's a 'could-see', but forgettable.

Entertaining
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Indian Jones is a classic. This is the best one just behind the Last Crusade.

Did itah for iTunes - no good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great movie, love this show, but digital asset is only for iTunes not ultraviolet. Not well explained and really an old school way of calling this "digital" - not really on a cloud.

Weak Movie
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although this movie has all of the star power it has nothing to do with archeology.

Very good film
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was first in the door opening day in my home town for all 3 of these films. If you are a fan the original 2003 DVD package set with the 3 films was MUCH better. That had additional discs with the extras. This set only has the 3 disc for extra film with some extras on each. NO chapter search list for any film. THEN, an unnecessary paper that comes off & you have to put some place because it does NOT attach to the box. This set was put out in time for the release of the 4th film 5-22-08. POOR set to get interest for the new film. The new extras are good BUT NEEDS THEIR OWN DISC LIKE THE 2003 DVD PACKAGE. Rating above for the films NOT the DVD package" GET THE 2003 DVD SET & MISS THE 2008 RELEASES REVIEW TAKEN FROM THE 2008 PACKAGE WITH ALL 3 FILMS

A good movie trapped behind a classic
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Temple of Doom was the go-to whipping boy for the Indiana Jones films until Crystal Skull; an unfair label as it's actually a very good film. True, it doesn't live up to the classic that is its predecessor, but it's still one of the best for its genre. The film takes many chances (even opening with a song and dance number). Whether you consider those chances a plus or minus, you have to respect the decision not to produce a carbon copy of Raiders. Weighing down the film, Kate Capshaw's, shrill, one-dimensional character and an equally under-developed villain. However, the banter is still a lot of fun and the various chase sequences, from the opening in Shanghai to the mine carts, are inventive and exciting.

Third best of the trilogy. Well worth watching.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the third best of the trilogy. A little too dark in content, and not enough laughs, but you must see this one as you will enjoy the third "Last Crusade" even more. My 16 year old had seen Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, and commented that she had never see any of the original trilogy. We promptly got the 3 DVD's and watched them in sequence. It was a real treat as we hadn't seen them in years.

best of the 3
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i'm not comparing this movie to 'raiders of the lost ark' or 'the last crusade.' this movie is my favorite one out of the 3. it's suspensful and i just love all the fighting scenes minutes before they get onto the minecarts. i find it entertaining and was really happy when i found out it's coming out on dvd.

Amazing
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love how these movies incorporate actual historical events into the plot. Not your average action movie! I grew up watching this one over and over again and still love it to this day!

Indy's Back
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This movie personally takes a back seat to the first film. This time around the plot of the movie is really not at that clear, but we are introduced to some new setpieces, and characters,an easily frightened nightclub chanteuse singer Willie(Kate Capshaw) and a 12 year old kid named Short Round(Quan Ke Huy).Director Steven Spielberg is once again behind the camera, and this time it seems that the thrills out weight the story. From jumping out of an airplane with an inflatiable raft, beging crushed to death with a spiked ceiling,or the abandon mineshaft rollercoaster ride,it all seems to work. But some of the audience members maybe a bit grossed out when it comes to a particular diner scene, monkey brains anyone? But the film is enjoyable
