This is our third separate monitor system in 3 1/2 years. First, we tried Motorola and that conked out before 2 years had gone by. Then we tried VTech and that didn't last a year and a half. So far, this monitor system has all the best features of both we've tried! My FAVORITE feature is that I can shut the screen off at night but still hear the activity upstairs. Honestly - this was the first solid night of sleep I'd had in many months as the previous monitor had a bad connection and would constantly shut itself off and I'd have to wiggle the cords and dance a jig until it would magically work again. I've had no reason to use or try the additional lens but it's nice to have the option to change it in case we travel. The parent unit is as simple as simple can be - but does everything I can think it should do. AND, AND, AND you can turn down the notification beeps! The low battery beeps were so loud on the VTech that it had awoken the baby a few times. Overall, we're very pleased with this and, though we don't want to have to use it, are reassured that it comes with a manufacturer warranty. I used to think it was silly that parents "needed" this since our parents got along just fine without it, but it truly is peace of mind and reassurance when you've got other things to get done during naptime or after babe goes to bed.

This camera is extremely easy to set up and use. It has a lot of great features like rotating up and down plus giving the room temperature. The quality of the night camera is excellent!

This is a great monitor. Picture is crystal clear. Very easy to use and does not need to be mounted because you have so much control over the movement of the camera. Only draw back is that it is expensive. However most are very expensive so I would say if you're going to spend 150 dollars on one anyway, pick this one

Perfect video monitor. Clear picture and sound. Pan and tilt capability. Great battery life. Ridiculously easy setup. I had it out of the box and watching my 2 year old in <5 minutes. You won’t find a better monitor at this price.

This camera system is excellent! The image quality is really good in bright light as well as with the night vision. I love the fact that the camera has the capability to tilt and pan around the room from the control monitor. Also, it was extremely easy to setup and have the camera wall mounted. I also love that the sound comes in so clear! Also, you will appreciate that the movement of the camera is very quiet. It will not wake the baby at all! Overall, great system and I would not hesitate recommending to anyone!

First baby monitor and was able to set up and get going in a jiff. Very intuitive and easy. Crisp images and night vision is crystal clear. No complaints!

Super easy to set up and great picture quality! The night vision is very clear on our monitor. It only took us about 10 minutes to set everything up.

The Infant Optics DXR-8 is our third and final baby monitor. The most impressive aspects of this baby monitor were ease of setup, the intuitive layout of the controls on the handheld unit and the high quality image transmitted to the handled. The instructions were simple and easy to follow which took any guess work out of the setup and made the process quick and easy. We are happy with the sound and image quality offered with this unit.

My baby is not here yet but I recieved and setup my camera. This camera was recommended by many friends of mine who love it. Connection works great accross my entire house. Picture quality is very clear. I love how i can move the camera up down and side to side. Still playing with the temperature monitoring to see how accurate it is. Love the two way talk, sound quality is good. Easy to use.

I got this after I decided I needed a camera with a separate monitor rather than use the camera I already had that sends live feed to your phone. It’s just more convenient to be able to consistently monitor your newborn and be able to use your phone for other things if need be. It was easy to set up, easy to use, and works as advertised. Video and audio works well.

We learned of this monitor from some online research at The Bump and the NY Magazine 2018 Baby Monitor Reviews. Both had this monitor as #1 and this monitor delivers! Great range, clarity of images and accuracy of info like temp. We could not be happier, especially after having such problems with our prior investment in Motorola monitors.

Not using for baby but for a senior adult with dementia. at night when we put him down for bed we can keep an eye on him. Even in the darkest room we can clearly see what is going on. The sound quality is outstanding. We had a noise baby monitor before and we would have to go in his room to make sure everything was ok ,but not anymore.

This is an investment that we made for our grandchildren's safety and comfort, and for our piece of mind! We could not be happier with this unit! Everything worked perfectly right out of the box. The range of monitor, and the clarity of the two-way audio is very comforting, The instructions are clear with detailed illustrations to help.

I did an abundance of research before zeroing in on this monitor for our nursery. So far this is above my expectations. The monitor picture is great. Temperature sensor is a great bonus. The range on the monitor is surprisingly good. This monitor delivers all the features you would want to keep your baby safe and works like a charm.

We went through 3 different Samsung monitors before we gave up on them for good and bought an Infant Optics on the recommendation of friends of ours. Great battery life, excellent range, and we love that nobody can see a wifi network called something BABYVIEW. It's about time someone got it right with a quality baby monitor!

This is a great camera. We had purchased a different brand for when our son was born but when we had twins we wanted something that was more reliable and would guarantee we would be able to see and communicate with our babies. This monitor has far exceeded our expectations with the clarity of the picture and the ease of use.

We originally ordered the Arlo Baby Monitor and returned it because of the battery life. This camera had excellent ratings on both Best Buy and Amazon, so we went with it. The reasons I rated it a 4 is: I wish it had a wifi option with a phone application, the camera itself must be plugged in at all times to work and we couldn't get it to charge at first because the battery connection requires an extra step in the monitor that isn't pointed out in the manual, but is pointed out on an extra piece of paper in the instructions. Despite an unsightly cord, overall, this camera will definitely work for us. The picture quality is excellent and you can even turn off the picture and solely listen for sound. It has a temperature gauge which seems to be surprisingly accurate and I really like that you can rotate/turn the camera, using the monitor. It's also nice that you can add another camera to the monitor, if you had multiple children or needed to see in multiple rooms. I also like that you can talk to your child through it, making it even better for use from infancy to toddler stage. Since we're still waiting on our little one to be born, the true test will be after that, but I'm excited about the possibilities!

Have had the unit for 1 week and so far no issues. Video is detailed enough to see details day or night and the sound picks up everything. Battery life is great, lasting a few nights before needing to be recharged. So far, very happy with my purchase.

This camera far exceeds our expectations. We received one as a registry gift and liked it so much we bought another set to use for our older, special needs daughter. Even on a different floor, across the house it picks up great! It also has a noise meter to flash when it detects noise. We love it!
