This camera was purchased to replace our old Vtech camera that we had issues with the charging port. So far we love this new camera and is exactly what we are looking for. The picture and sound quality is great and it is easy to use. We hope this holds up better than our vtech.

We have owned one brand of camera for years and recently needed to replace it. We tried three different monitors before finding this InfantOptics. So far, the image and quality of it are Great. We are very pleased with it. The image is very clear and it is user friendly.

Everything is working great so far. We had a little confusion about the ability to run off of the battery initially, but after a full charge, it's working great. Monitor pairs up with your camera immediately on power-up, no waiting, and no initial searching or setup!

We just bought this monitor, but so far we love it! It’s easy to set up, the picture is clear, and it has all the features we felt were necessary. My favorite features are the large screen on the monitor and the pan/tilt function on the camera! Great purchase!

I've had this for a week and I love it. The picture quality is like no other and even though I have it next to his sound machine, I have no problem hearing him at all. I like how you can control the volume, too. 10/10 easy to set up and get started.

Just purchased this monitor today and so far so good! It was really easy to put together and the instructions manual is great! The camera quality is really good and the monitor is nice and big to see my baby. I am enjoying this purchase!

I did so much research on this camera that it was the best out of all of them. I even asked all my friends which one they had and some of them said this one as well. Recommend this to anyone. The quality sound night vision is great.

We purchased the DXR-8 to monitor our grandbabies when they visit. It was very easy to set up. It is easy to use. Picture quality is excellent. We have twin grandbabies so it is great to be able to move the camera!

We bought this product for our first born child to set up in the nursery, so we could monitor him from our bedroom. It is high-quality, works great, and provides so much peace of mind. Hihgly recommend!

I purchased this based on the recommendation of a friend and haven't been disappointed! We were going to use our Nest indoor cam but had an issue with it being hacked so we wanted one without wifi for security purposes. The set up was easy, the range is really impressive, the volume can be turned up very loud and I love that even if we mute the volume and turn off the screen (like while we are watching tv and baby is sleeping), you still have the visual indicators on the side lighting up if baby starts making noise. I researched a lot of options for monitors and while nothing will be perfect, this is as close as we could find for us. Very satisfied and highly recommend!

Excellent night vision, sound and picture. No interference from wi-fi unlike the other monitor I previously owned. Love the ability to turn the alarm sound down or off. Highly recommend this monitor!

We originally bought a monitor that did not include a video option thinking sound would suffice and immediately regretted it once our daughter arrived. She isn't much of a crier and when she wakes and is in a light sleep will most times settle herself without assistance. Without video it can be hard to distinguish between normal waking versus one that needs immediate atttention meaning we ended up checking on her more times than needed. The video quality is amazing and it is so nice to be able to see her clearly. The monitor can be muted but will light up with a red color to indicate crying and you have the option of zooming in and out which makes placement of the monitor a breeze. Highly recommend!

Easy setup, works well in the dark, good signal range, clear picture, can pan & tilt the camera. I was looking for a system which did not connect to the internet or WIFI; so far very pleased.

Couldn't be more pleased with our new Infant Optics baby monitor. It has the functions that you need, real time video, zoom, night view, as well as portability! Will be buying a second camera.

I just got my new baby monitor after searching for the best one for weeks! This one is just what I was looking for its ultra clear with awsome zoom options and has a great range!

We upgraded our basic model video monitor for this one. I wanted a monitor that could tilt/move to view more of room. As our little one grows I want him to have a little more freedom playing alone in his room, and this allows him that Independence with my supervision using camera. I actually like that the sound always stays on, but screen triggers on if a loud noise/cry. You can turn screen off manually if you'd like, or set a timer to auto sleep if all is quiet. Battery life is great! I turn it off (sleep mode perhaps) when not in use and it auto turns on if a noise occurs. I'd like to someday add a second camera for play room.

I have a 16 month old baby girl and am expecting a little boy in 2 months time so I needed to get another baby monitor to watch over my little one. I was searching the internet for best baby monitors of 2019 and after reading many reviews online I decided to give the Infant Optics DXR-8 a try. So far I am very happy with this monitor and it far surpasses the older monitor that I have. I love the fact that the product comes with two lenses and that there is an option to add a wide angle lens as well as other cameras. I am so looking forward to using this monitor and thank everyone for their wonderful reviews! Katie

This is an awesome baby monitor! The sounds of baby picks up great (something I was concerned about). The battery life lasts a long time. Image is clear. Great camera!
