Does everything it says it will

I love that the camera moves quietly without making nose that would bug my 3 year old. I love being able to pan the camera from the parent unit to be able to see what my toddler is up to. Another great feature is the screen on the parent unit will turn off and keep the sound on so that you don't have a bright light at night. Overall, I would recommend!

Works well, love the interchangeable lenses

This one finally looks like the winner. Worth paying more for. Being able to swap in a wide angle lens is really great for our toddler during quiet time — gives us a full view of the room.

Great camera for an infant
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is a great camera! My 1st one by another company broke. So I bought the Infant Optics DXR-8. I love the clear screen, and how you can move the camera up and down and side to side WITHOUT having to go into the room!!!!

Not as impressed as others

Was happy with our first child but added a second camera for #2, camera quality was terrible and night vision didn’t work. Monitor then completely stopped working less than 3 years after purchased.

Spend the extra $35 and get the infant optics pro

This smaller one is absolute garbage in comparison! Picture quality is terrible, no active noise reduction, menu options and usability in so outdated. Spend the little extra for the bigger screen Pro model. Ordered a monitor replacement and returning this one

Battery defect
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After 2-3 months of use, I would charge the battery for a couple of hours and unplug once charged. Within 1 hour of the monitor being off the charger at full battery, the low battery icon would start beeping. This is while its on only 5 mins at a time and then the screen will snooze. Now forced to pay for additional battery and see if this resolves the problem.
