It's wonderful to revisit Tarantino's exuberant re-telling of WWII from the moviemaker's perspective. Though most reviewers have cited Christophe Waltz for his brilliant turn as the "Jew Hunter" here, all the performances are sterling, and I must give special props to Brad Pitt as Aldo the Apache. This is an iconic role, his Indiana Jones, and he knocks it out of the park with spot-on comic timing and a good-ol'-boy accent. I also want to commend Best Buy on the third Bonus Disc they have included in this edition. This disc contains an interview and audience Q&A session with QT and the NY Times Magazine editor at a Times seminar just before the film premiered. Though her questions and film knowledge are fairly pedestrian, the audience fares better, and QT is in fine form throughout. He also reveals that the last film he had gotten a high from watching was Sam Raimi's Drag Me to Hell -- an excellent choice! In short, this edition of IB is the one to buy, and BB is the place to buy it.

What an excellent movie. Quentin has done it again!! The man cannot miss!! This movie shows an excellent view of WWII. Giving the US another glory shot in the arm, not that they needed it. It's a great story line with a handful of commandos going into Europe & wreaking havoc on the Germans with guerilla warfare with a special twist. It may not be historically accurate but its a great story and well acted by all. Brad Pitt is even good in this movie and I'm not neccesarily a Brad Pitt fan. It just goes to show once again the brilliance of Tarantino. He is a true genius and I can't wait to see his next movie and the one after that, and the one after that, etc. I've seen all of his movies and have enjoyed each one more than the last.

I'm a huge Tarantino fan, so naturally when I saw the trailer for IB, I was interested. The time came around for it to be released, and I wasn't disappointed. This film is WW2 through the eyes of an extreme filmmaker. It is violent, very violent, but only in spurts, not throughout the whole film. That being said, it does move a little slower than his previous films, relying heavily on dialogue, but the script is great. The actors really pulled it off, whether it be a southern Brad Pitt, a German Diane Kruger, or Christoph Waltz, who in my opinion, should definitely receive a Best Supporting Actor Oscar nod for his role. He was a guy you loved to hate. This film isn't really true to history, you'll see what I mean, but it's Quentin's spin of the event. If you don't like Tarantino, you probably won't go for this movie, but I still say give it a shot. If you're into war stories, definitely check it out.

This movie is hands down Tarantino's best movie to date. But I don't see him making anything that can top this movie unless of course he makes a sci-fi movie which is possibility. Anyway, it contains some easily quotable lines, memorable characters, and an explosive ending in which [spoiler alert] Hitler dies in a hail of gunfire and dynamite. It also has Christoph Waltz giving the best performance of his entire career that earned him his first Oscar. And Tarantino should have won the Oscars for Best Screenplay, Best Director, and Best Picture too.

It seems the man is incapable of making a good film. This is another great film with great moments with the speeches that we are all use to, to the Mexican standoff and humorous points. Of course like most of Taratino's film there's a lot of blood and violence, so if you're not into that kind of thing or liked his other films you won't like this one. However, if you're familiar with his work and like his films, then you should like this one. The actors are phenomenal even if they're cameos or short scenes, they truly stand out in the pact.

Inglorious B is a dark and violent comic fantasy, gloriously so. Built on the framework of The Dirty Dozen, Inglorious B ditches the elongated training sequences of The Dirty Dozen to plunge into the action right away. In the process, Tarantino fixes one of The Dirty Dozen's major flaws by giving the bad guys screen time to remind us just how bad the Nzs were. The Nzs with the most screen time end up becoming the most completely human characters in the film, which ironically makes them even worse monsters. Great Film based on an Old Classic.

This is one of those movies you just get lost in. The visual experience wanders from dynamic to hypnotic. There has probably never been a more menacing German than the one portrayed by Christoph Waltz. If brutality isn't your thing, some parts of this film may be hard to watch. However, if you've seen any Tarantino before, you probably know what to expect. It's great to see a film maker continue his style with each new film, and Tarantino stays true to the unique flair that caught our attention in the first place.

Quentin Tarantino did a amazing job on this movie. The story itself is good. The opening scene really opened up the movie and story and defined itself! Brad Pitt does a good job, actually everyone did a good job. The movie does have some slow parts to it but does keep you interested. There are a couple different stories going on at once but come together in the end. The opening scene and bar scene were my fav. In all reality I would def get this movie. Watch the movie with a open mind. You wont regret it!

Great story, great acting. builds up great to the action scenes at the end. anyone expecting non stop action needs to go into this with different expectations. I didn't know what type of movie it was and was not disappointed. someone complained in a review that you have to pay attention with this movie...... yeah. it has subtitles but I think it adds to the realism of the Germans. Great movie.

This movie is amazing. I can't believe anyone would give this anything less than 4-5 stars. I suppose if you expect non-stop action and can't stand subtitles, then I guess it might not be right for you, but if you appreciate an epic film by Quentin Tarantino then you won't be disappointed.

This movie is easily my favorite Tarantino film and quite possibly my favorite overall movie. I've been wanting to upgrade to a blu ray copy of it for quite some time and finally did. Wow, was it worth it. The movie is still grade of course, but the quality of presentation is far superior to my dvd copy. The extras are a fun throw in too. Highly recommended.

This movie is about a group of hardened killers.Lt. Aldo Raine(aka Aldo the Apache,"Brad Pitt)is their leader.The actors do a fine job at playing their roles.This movie is not really a bloodbath,but it has a lot of lengthly German dialogue.The movie is also broken down into chapters telling the story of different characters throughout the film.Quentin Tarantino directs the movie in a style that makes it look like a bit of a history lesson instead of a fictional play.He has an eye for talented actors along with setpieces to make it a good film.

On its surface, Inglourious B (the moronic site software won't let me use the entire title) is a cheesy B-movie about WWII - with an incongruously ahistorical ending. Of course, it's not that at all. It deconstructs standard war movie tropes. In other words, the entire purpose of the movie is to get you to re-examine all those war movie cliches that you've seen.

Great action, great story and awesome film making made this an absolute must for my collection. The script is engaging, thought provoking, sinsister and hillarious, classic Quentin style. I must say, realize that the movie is a "what if" scenario, I was confused and drawn out of the story a little bit because I was looking through a historical lens! Just enjoy!

First off, if you don't feel like doing a little reading then don't watch this film. Go sit on Mommy's lap and have her read you a story. This movie is good but not great. I am a big fan of the Kill Bill movies and got a little too excited for this film. I wasn't too crushed but felt a little let down. That said, this is still a great movie and a great addition to any blu-ray collection. All of the actors did a terrific job and the characters are quite well developed.

Didnt catch this in theaters, but glad I picked it up at my local BB! The acting is top notch as well as the way it was shot. Tarintino always does a bang-up job IMO! The video and audio quality is stunning on this blu-ray, with the proper display, player and receiver, you will see and hear every detail of the film!

Quentin T. still continues to excite! His flair for the dramatic, humor, and dialogue are still so fresh. I have liked every movie he has ever made and like that he does not put them out nearly as frequently as others. I suppose James Cameron takes that method to a whole new level. The IBs were super.

I love this movie, it is funny and a great addition to my Quentin Terantino movie collection. It was gory but you have to remember who made the movie. Brad Pitt did a great job playing his part. It was nice to see him step out to do a role like this one. Blu-ray gives this movie a little more edge, great experience, and happy to have this movie in my vast collection of movies.

This was a well done very powerful film. It was hillarious violent and unbelievably entertaining. The acting was phenominal on both contrasting sides of the story.Will enjoy this movie for a lifetime. As you can tell I really loved this movie.

Quentin Tarantino is only one of a handful of directors who I can think of that can entertainingly offer an alternate look at history. Brad Pitt and Christoph Waltz give excellent performances as opposing enemies in World War II. A few surprising cameos here and there add to this entertaining film that is a personal favorite of mine.
