I'll be fair...it was very easy to use...while it was working (all of 15 minutes). This would probably be a good shredder if you were shredding a couple of docs; one at a time. The most sheets of paper I put in at once was six and it sounded like it was going to die. I was too afraid to put in a CD or credit card...no way was this thing going to handle that request. After five minutes of repeated use it started to make a burning smell and finally jammed. But wait....it has reverse right? That will unjam it...right? Wrong.

The product itself is excellent. The online service with BestBuy SUCKS

it destories the paper(s) into little pieces, making it hard to see the what print was on the paper(s)

Its an excellent product for the home. I highly recommend this product for home or office use.

It works as advertised. The Power switch is a little odd. It doubles as the reverse button.

I just purchased it so I can not rate the reliability. It seems to run for a while after the sheet is shredded. The motor races before it finally stops. I hope it holds up. I would have rather replaced my old Memorex shredder with another Memorex but they are no longer made.

This product does the job for small amounts of shredding. The red light goes on when the basket is half full and needs to emptied frequently

I purchased the NT-PS10CC 3-days ago. After 2 and a half baskets of shredding it's done! I ran less than 10 pages at at time for about 10 minutes and then it just stopped. The troubleshooting instructions said to let it sit for 10 minutes (to cool off I guess). It took over thirty minutes until it would run again. So I ran some more paper through it for about ten minutes and the thing started smoking. The next day I ran it for about 5 minutes and it finally quit. I called customer support at Init, talked with Sally in India about handling the warranty; whether I could return it to Bestbuy or if they cover the warranty directly. After about 10 questions she said I could return it to the store. I was expecting a much better unit for the price. This thing won't even handle light duty shredding. If you plan to shred an occasional canceled check or a receipt maybe this unit is for you. But forget the guy who had a years worth of junk mail to shred, 'cause it won't do it!

Stop working after about 40 minutes of use, makes noise (of motor) but blades do not move. First peace was open box !!!!!! Did not pickup, had to go to other store to pickup next day. Now this do not work!!!! I do not know whether this is a bad peace or not?? Even when it worked, makes a lot of noise. If it works, probably I would tolerate noise. At this price I expected a dependable machine.

Works for me. Reasonable bin size and money well spent. Go for it, it works.

Bought it because of the decent reviews and sheet capacity for the price. Assembly was easy, but the top will pull off easily (pro or con depending on your preference). No recommended usage period was given, just a "if it turns off, it probably overheated". Failed to shred first sheet of paper, reverse worked to release it. Tried smaller sheets of paper with limited success (1 piece successful), then it failed to shred at all; reverse sounded grindy. What did shred, was cross-cut, but the pieces were still larger than I would have liked.

Cuts the paper, shreds the paper and cards. HARD TO GET THE PAPER IN THE SHREADER! WAY TO HARD! You have to wiggle it in, force it in work it in. If it is a flimsy receipt, forget it, you need another piece of paper to feed it in.

worked for 6 months! Taking it back to BB, under warranty, motor will not stop running, have to unplug.

Decent shredder but cross-cut feature causes more hassle.

Shredder jammed after 3 days of proper usage. Returning to store. Lucky for me I have an extended return time.

I ordered this as a Christmas gift. We tried to use it but the switch is broken. The shredder won't take any paper either. Now I bet I will only be credited for the price and not the money I paid for tax and shipping. Will not order this model again and anything else I need to purchase will be done so in store.

This product was frustrating, It did not want to shred paper unless it was folded in hallf. Did not want to take paper into shredder. Opening is too small.

Received shredder today. It did not work. I found metal scraps in the shredding wheels. This machine was obviously used and returned. In the future I will be most reluctant to purchase anything from Best Buy.
