I live in a 1909 building and this fan looks great with plenty of power. The fan is more of a distressed bronze then a cooper but still looks amazing. It is made of medal and not plastic. I bought two, one for the bed room and one for the living room. It does not get to loud to make the TV hard to hear and has enough noise to allow me to sleep over all the city sounds. Overall great purchase. I am planning on buying another one.

I read the reviews before purchasing this fan which was a major factor in my purchase. This fan is excellent! It pushes a lot of air and looks great. I love it!! Highly recommended. I plan on buying a 2nd for another room.

The quality of this fan is fantastic for the price! Including the heavy duty electrical cord. This thing MOVES air even on low speed, I doubt I will ever use med or high. Looks great, works great. My only complaint is that on sale I only bought one instead of 2 or 3.

This 12 inch fan is better and more powerful than the 16inch and 18inch plastic fans. You can fill the air from across the room. And like a few other parents my child has a loft bed, the fan can keep you cool no matter how high up you are.. I also got it on sale for 30, I wouldn't pay anything more than that. Anything more is just extra money in the pockets of millionaires.

Great looking fan and good air flow, but the tilt does not allow it to go back enough. It can only point straight ahead or down, not upwards. If you want this pointing up toward the ceiling, you have the wrong fan.

The five metal blades move the air evenly rather than chopping it. This means the breezes are gentle and smooth rather than abrupt and jerky. Generally the lowest setting is enough for me (I usually sit about 8' away from where the fan is located). This is an improvement over the fan I used to have, which had the same tilt and oscillation features but was mostly plastic. The looks are at the same time elegant and inconspicuous. Also, since this fan isn't lightweight plastic, it doesn't vibrate in place while operating.

My wife and I have purchased 4 fans. They provide so much air for our bed bedrooms and living room. They are on every time that we are home. They are nicely constructed and very sturdy. I highly recommend this fan.

Great fan to put on your desk. It works well and is pretty silent and blows air very well even on the lowest level. I can't adjust the angle of it though.

While doing some redecorating, my wife complained that my bedside fan looked ugly and cheap. I need a fan to fall asleep and this fan worked perfectly. It is heavy duty well built all metal construction. It is quiet and best of all it looks great. It blends in nicely with the bedroom furniture and the wife is happy, and isn't that what we all want!

liked the retro look of the fan and durable metal like construction. Fan does a good job cooling off a medium size area.

My lady friend really loves as well because it really kicks out some force of air. Its cheaper than a air conditioner to run. I really made a good choice with this one. It reminds me of those old fashion ones.

Bought this fan due to my a/c going out so needed something for my room until it's fixed. Works great, very powerful.

This fan is pretty good - and looks great. But the lowest fan speed is too fast - blows too much air and is too noisy. I don't know who would ever use the next two faster speeds. I wish the fan could be set to be one notch slower and hence quieter.

It looks really cool sitting on my table in my living room and it keeps the air circulated very well. The oscillating feature is wonderful!

I use a floor fan constantly in my Florida and North Carolina homes. It supplements my A/C. Every fan, including this one, does its job- it works. The biggest problem I have with fans is they are too noisy. I have returned numerous fans until I find a quiet one. I carefully read all the reviews of this fan, and the vast majority of you said this was a quiet fan. No it is not. I returned it. I am sensitive to noises, and apparently other reviewers are not. Think twice about buying this fan.

It LOOKS GREAT! However the build quality is a step or two below what I'd expect. This arrived with two blades pushed into the rear cage. The blades are surprisingly thin, so they could be bent back into the proper shape easily. The cage itself is built of surprisingly thin wire. The carrying handle is thin wire. I'd not trust it. The base is hollow without even a plate on the bottom. Summary: A nice-looking fan with marginal (at best) performance and build. However, it looks good... if you want a decorating piece. There are better options out there. For a fan this size, this fan IS loud. A Hunter 12" on level 2 is far quieter than this on level 1. Returning this to Best Buy. Energy draw is 29/33/37 Watt - Low/Med/High. +1 W for oscillation.
