This movie offers a unique story line that is great for all ages. It is witty and offers a unique perspective into our thoughts, memories, and emotions. The DVD is also great. The bonus features are interesting, motivational, and a great addition to a great movie. Blu Ray quality is worth the extra few dollars. Joy, one of the main character really "glows" and I never noticed it until I watched in Blu Ray.

Inside Out should have been way more popular than it ended up being. The emotions are so well portrayed. It's easily a favorite Disney movie of mine. I have 2 copies of inside out. One I'm keeping sealed, as most merchandise revolving around this movie has become a collectors edition piece since their production run was so short. I was hoping for a sequel but will probably never get one.

Growing up can be a bumpy road, and it's no exception for Riley, who is uprooted from her Midwest life when her father starts a new job in San Francisco. Inside Out looks fantastic on Blu-ray. Aside from a few traces of banding, the image is pristine, delivering exactly as expected of a brand new digitally animated feature and the DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 lossless soundtrack excels in every facet.

Inside out is filled with complexity that will have children revisiting it and reevaluating the meaning and symbolism as they age. This film is entertaining both in a sense that there is a lot of movement and humor that a younger audience will find it interesting, and that there is some meaning beyond the surfacy plot. We didn't look at what special feature the DVD offers so I have not comment on that.

This is one of Pixar's best movies. It is obviously an adult movie that moves really fast so it will keep the kids' attention. (just like all Pixar movies.) It's almost like they were in my head the whole time. This is a great date movie or if you are depressed, it will really pick you up. Lava (the pre-movie) is an absolute tear-jerker. I don't care how many times I see it, I am blubbering every time.

This is without a doubt Pixar's best movie since Wall-E. The characters are delightful and story has thought and feeling and isn't just an attempt to make you cry. The bluray is full of features and I love the digital copy. I have my disney digital linked to itunes, google, amazon, and vudu. This means I can play any of my digital movies from practically any where in the world at any time. Pretty slick

Riley is being uprooted from Minnesota to San Francisco with her parents. The move is hectic and everyone is stressed. Faced with new surroundings and missing her friends and town, Riley tries to keep balanced, but ends up spiraling into depression due to her feelings and core memories getting jumbled. Thus the internal adventure between joy, fear, disgust, sadness, and anger; the characters in Riley's head controlling her emotions. Okay - I think that covers it without giving spoilers. On one hand, this is an entertaining movie the kids enjoyed. The graphics are great, the characters are all fun in their own way. Young kids, older kids and parents thoroughly enjoyed this. I would say 5 stars from my daughter, 4 stars from me.

My daughter loves this movie! the DVD was very inexpensive. Which I liked because now everything is mostly digital now. We like to have DVD's when traveling so she can watch them in the car. I will say if you can try and get the one with the digital copy it is worth the price, they just did not have any when we got ours. but great kids movie and a good movie for adults as well.

My kids love this movie. Even my 15 yr old daughter loves it. I bought this because of the Disney extra digital copy. Not only do I have the Dvd and blue ray disk, I also have a copy available through Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, and Google. Which is really nice not needing to download the movie to all my kids devices. It's also available through the Xbox, so I rearly even use the disks.

Another great, emotionally insightful movie. Lots of interesting "inside the head" characters: Joy, Sadness, Fear, Vanity, Anger (and others in different parts of the brain) Some interesting stuff in the "making of Inside Out" -how the story evolved -how Pixar makes movies (most of the work is about story and occurs way before animating even a single frame.)

This is a cute little family movie about the emotions inside a persons head. We are mainly watching the feelings of a young girl who moves to a new city and trying to adapt to her surroundings. She gets homesick for her friends and the old town. While she is homesick one of her emotions is caught in a different location of the brain and is trying to make it back to the control center.

First saw this movie in the theater with my 5 year old son. He has talked about it many times since then and pretended to be each of the emotion characters from the movie. This movie is a very touching family movie and the first kids movie I've cried during since Up. My husband loves this movie as well. I think they really have the mom's and dad's head thoughts/emotions down perfectly.

I really enjoyed Inside Out in the theatre, so the blu-ray purchase was a no-brainer. I am impressed with the exclusive packages that Best Buy has for certain movies. The Best Buy exclusive of Inside Out has 5 collectable character cards that are inter-changable with the front cover. So you can put your favorite character on the front or change it between the 5 characters if you want.

Not only do we enjoy the movie together, but the character cards make for all kinds of family fun and role play. My preschooler likes to issue the character cards to others when she see them demonstrating the emotions--Joy, Sadness, Anger, Disgust or Fear. I'm appreciating the movie being implemented into our daily lives. Emotional awareness is priceless, and to top it off, it is fun!

Inside Out is about the emotions that we all feel, and our struggle to understand that every one of them has an important purpose. Through watching this film one can learn that the variety of emotions we feel makes life better. As usual, Pixar found a way to go beyond entertaining their audiences, by providing them an emotional, thought-provoking and relatable story.

I fell in love with this movie. I'm a HUGE Disney fan and this, although it's not quite classic Disney material, met my expectations. The thing I love most about this movie is that I noticed that my smaller cousins (ranging in ages from 3 to 6) can identify these feelings and it helped open up conversations about how to deal with them. It opens a healthy dialogue and I just ADORE it.

Ever since Disney bought Pixar, I was worried that Pixar would lose the magic. This movie has renewed my faith. Any animation studio can make a movie look good but, Pixar makes good stories and makes it look good. Lewis Black is the obvious choice for the Anger character. This story is deeper then anyone would expect it to be. This is Pixar's specialty: levels for kids and adults.

I was able to purchase this the week it came out for $19.99 which had a Best Buy exclusive with trading cards. When Black Friday came around, I was able to purchase this for $9.99, while half the price was nice, as it made an easy gift for family. Concerning the movie, it's a good return to form for Pixar. I really liked it and it even had parts which touched people of all ages.

As a person that is into the mind and its wonders, the plot was good, but I really dug into the symbolism used throughout the film. From the mix-up of the fact/opinion cards, to the tower of consciousness rising out of the sea of subconscious (That goofy character fading like Yoda...). Just... Wow. And the glimpses into the minds of the adults, and the dog, and cat... Brilliant.

If you have kids or kids on the way or even thinking about having them. This movie will have you laughing and crying and laughing again. Me as a father of two little girls, I love the way this movie made me think about what type of things my girls will remember as they grow up. I want them to have the best childhood and to love being a kid. This is a must buy for your collection!
