This movie was just okay and weird at times. I think they had a great concept but failed to capitalize on what people thought process was and the dynamics of family life. The best parts were in the commercials and to much of the movie was spent on a journey in the mind.

Not quite what I expected. The story was a little dark for an animated movie. There weren't many moments that made me laugh. The animation was decent , but nothing new or that made getting 3D worth it. I ended up going back and getting Minions. A much better choice.

We enjoyed it almost as much as our grand daughter did.

I personally was not a big fan of the movie; however, my kids and my wife both LOVED it! I was talking to someone else about the movie and we had the theory that girls appreciated the movie more than boys, but still a quality movie the entire family can watch together.
