The wife wanted this movie not my first choice to watch.

Think the first was better but still had its moments.

This now definitely lacked. At least with the first one it actually made me jump once or twice with this one it was way too much back story!

Honestly, I have not taken the time to watch it so I cannot really rate it, but from the previews that I have seen it looks like a good movie.

Chapter 2 had a lot to live up to after the first film. Unfortunately, it didn't even come close. I don't know why they needed to make a sequel if they weren't going to try anything different. Same scares, same plot line, no character delopment, and just an overall boring experience.

We did not like this sequel. It wasn't scary, just explained what happened in 1.

this movie is so predictable and it left off for a 3rd sequel, really!!! not.

It's a pretty decent follow up to the original, I honestly don't see why it has been hammered with such bad reviews but oh well, everyone has an opinion I suppose. Don't let the bad reviews swerve you from picking this one up, is it worth a purchase? Depends on how much you liked the first, if you LOVED the first then I recommend buying it, if you just liked it OK give it a rental at least.

This movie picks right up where the first one leaves off and dives deeper into the story. There are really cool twists that bring it back to the first movie. An all around great sequel with a great story and some really good scares.

At first I doubted the shipping cause it says it will arrive 2-3 days late, but instead it arrived one day early! This is a great movie, pretty creepy for it being PG-13 which I love! The shipping was fast, disk cover was a little dented, but not much.

Don't get me wrong I just preferred the first this is still a great horror flick and sequel. I guess if you know the pretense it is not as surprising the second time around

I'm a major horror fan and enjoyed the first Insidious film. The second movie picks up right at the end of the first one. While it provides a lot of back story of various characters, it seemed to be pieced together as roughly. For example, it seemed like the writers went "we can make a reference to the first one here" way to often. Further investigating "the further" also made the story very weird. In the end, the acting as well as James Wan's directing makes this film not only watchable, but enjoyable,

I think I like the first one better, but this one is still good. great release from sony. the Blu-ray has a great transfer. The characters are good, plot is good,

Most sequels fail to live up to the original but insidious 2 is a great follow up that continues where part 1 leaves off.

Story keeps getting better. Jump a few times and very suspenseful hopefully a third part comes out.

Both pt 2 & 1 are equally as good and thrilling!! On the edge of your seat.
