not that scary just really pointless story to watch

nowhere near as good as the first movie kinda disappointing

The First Insidious film was a great presentation of modern Horror- not gory but subtly creepy in so many ways! The quick view of the devils face next to the wife at one point in the film is so effective and powerful! I also recommend this film as it continues the story in a logical manner with similar subtle creepiness.

Stars Lin Shaye an Stefanie Scott. In this chilling third installment in the franchise. This the it shows you where it all started. Going away from the Lambert family now showing the Brenner family in which Elise helps out during the haunting. I highly recommend this film to any horror fan!

Although the first and second installment are wonderful, I really enjoyed this prequel. It ties things together more and makes for a great 3rd movie in the collection.

We bought this without having seen it yet, being huge fans of the first 2 films. And honestly, it's still better than a solid 90% of scary movies out there, but. Missing are the blink-and-you'll-miss-'em creepy moments of the first two movies, and in its place are more obvious jump scares. Lin Shaye is great, of course, as Elise, and Specs + Tucker get a fun start. It's worth a watch if you enjoyed the first, just maybe wait for a sale?

Love the first, didn't care that much for the second and the tgird is my new favorite. Yeah...THAT'S how good it is.

I thought this was a pretty good addition to the franchise. Kept the same creepy vibe the other two did.

Usually by the 3rd movie in a series they decline in quality. this movie was just as good as the 1st two.
