Great TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I put this TV in my bed room. It's a good fit for a small to medium sized room. Set up was easy. The picture looks outstanding the sound isn't high def, but ok for what I am using it for. This is my 2nd Insignia TV. My first was a 50" That TV was great as well. I'm seeing a good trend from Insignia!

Excellent and affordable 4K option.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I took a chance on this television, was looking for something in the 40-43" size, 4K UHD, found this at the right price around 399.99... Then I got it home and WOW! This television is WAY MORE than advertised. Integrated Roku TV and remote makes switching inputs a breeze, multiple options for audio preference (even one that localizes and enhances dialog!) not to mention the picture quality... amazing. Insignia hit it out of the park with this one. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable 4K UHD TV with a lot of bells and whistles to keep you busy and entertained.

Very good tv for the price.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a smaller tv for my bedroom and really wanted to try a 4K tv. This tv is prefect for my need. First time user of the Roku service and I have to say its pretty nice. Very easy to use and a lot of app, Netflix, vudu, Amazon, YouTube and a lot more. I know purchasing a flat screen you don't buy it for the sound, so I was prepared myself to purchase a sound bar or desk top speaker (which it has a headphone jack output) but this small little tv actually has pretty good sound. No need for any additional speakers. As for the picture, it's good but not great. The only 4K content I watched so far was a sample 4K video through YouTube. Being that it was streaming video, I'm sure a 4K movie disc format would looking even better. Overall it is a very good tv and would recommend buying it if you're looking for a good to for less than $400.

Great for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this tv to use as an auxiliary monitor above my triple monitor pc set up, as a 4k fourth screen, or monitor live tv, stream video etc. After living with it for a couple weeks I couldn't be more satisfied. The 4k quality is excellent and the Roku interface is outstanding. Aside from the other reviews I'm posting this one for those who may be interested in calibrating this tv. It absolutely can be, however you cannot access the controls for color temperature or color management from the tv's Roku remote, you must use the Roku app for Android or Iphone/Ipad and select the "Expert Picture Settings" tab under the "about device" section of the app. From there you have full access to Gamma, Noise Reduction, Color Mgmt and 11 Pt White Balance controls, which must be adjusted on the app itself. This also applies to the 55" version so these sets can definitely be ISF calibrated and will greatly improve the picture for accuracy and realism on these already great sets!!

Great TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing 4K TV for the price! When combined with a digital antenna you have all you need! If you have a cable or satellite subscription, even better! The 4 HDMI ports, analog connection ports, and optical sound allow you to connect any device or sound system. I would suggest, as with any smart TV, to connect it to the internet with an ethernet cord so you do not slow down your WiFi and run into buffering issues. Very satisfied customer!

Amazing TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I read the reviews I was worried about purchasing this brand and after I took it home and first turned on the TV I was sorely disappointed because I tried using this as a PC monitor but after reading forums online I found out I had to change some settings and wow is it night and day different. Streaming 4K Netflix is also very nice. Be patient when you set up the TV and you'll be glad you bought this TV. Any other set would also set you back another $100+ for a Roku 4.

Great value
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is a great value. The image quality is good, with good colors. Having the Roku built in really simplifies things, and it delivers 4K content without the need to buy another device. Sounds quality is OK, but is greatly enhanced by a sound bar.

Wow, I shouldve gotten that pet rock
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So, I walked into bestbuy excited to buy my new 4k tv. I admit, every single person I talked to told me, definitely do not buy this product. It was 399 however, and I believe it was just too good to pass up on. the sony was 799, can it really be that much better. Lord I found out the hard way. Product and brand means a lot, I settled for a 60 refresh rate 4k television with an offbrand smart hub that was borrowed from Roku, so I am I happier than when I came in yes, why? Cause when I went back in to buy some cables for my television, the sony expert showed me something, his 40" 1080p sony, and then he showed me the quality of a sony 4k. I noticed the difference in the contrast and black levels, and motion rate and blur was less visible. So I decided, settling for a cheap tv didn't make my pockets happier, it hurt because that I bought wasn't what I needed. DONT BUY SOMETHING CAUSE ITS AFFORDABLE, PARTNER UP WITH SOMEONE TO FIND WHAT YOU NEED

Posted .Thank you for your feedback. This TV does have several menu options that can allow you to customize the Contrast and Brightness. Those settings will need to be adjusted and saved for each input you use. Also Insignia has partnered with Roku to provide built-in connected capability so you can access over 3,000 streaming channels and over 300,000 movies and TV shows, including the 4K Spotlight channel featuring 4K UHD movies, TV shows, and more. Awesome deal
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While this TV isn't the best when compared to more expensive 4k TVs, getting the TV and roku OS is an amazing value. I have enjoyed it tremendously.
