But since it is a gift I won’t know until after Christmas if there are any damages to the appliance. The Best Buy site was good

It takes twice as long to bring food up to equivalent temperatures or melt butter. It is basically used to reheat coffee or food and has been a disappointment due to the extended time. If your on a budget with time to spare it will do; otherwise, I would look for something else.
