I purchased it online for my wife to pick up when I was out of town so they would have something to use for a month until I could fix our full size over-the-range microwave which had stopped working. We needed to add more cooking time than we do with the full size microwave, but that is because the full size one has over 40% higher power output than this Insignia (1000 vs 700 Watts). The full size microwave is fixed, and we wanted to free up counter space, so the Insignia microwave is packed away for now, but will go back into service if we need a backup again or when my kids head off to college in a couple of years.
