I bought the open box. I would highly encourage people to not buy the open box. It was only a few dollars cheaper and it was simply set inside a beat up box on top of broken styrofoam with no padding and shipped. Super bad value

The door release button doesn’t work. You have to push the button with one hand and pull the door open with your other hand. I guess I’ll have to exchange for another unit; this will be my third one.

I ordered this microwave because all the others are too large to fit on my cabinet. When it came, I said it up and the first problem I noticed is that the button for the latch is on the left side of the unit. When I push it, The latch releases but the door doesn’t automatically open. When it is closed, it has to be slammed shut. The microwave heats up so much that the top and side are hot to the touch There is also light that shows through the unit when the unit is being used. I reported it to the store manager and got no response.This photo shows that the top panel is not flush with the front panel

Lasted less than 2 years. Gave no warning. Just stopped heating. Looks and sounds great, but no heat at all.

It was a disappointed order that it came with defective part. The mica sheet was kind of destroyed or broken and I have to end up with spending extra to purchase a separate mica sheet. I was rush to use this microwave so do not brother to do the time consuming return process. Bestbuy team did not even check it before shipping to customers.

Got a damage microwave. Not sure if it’s Best Buy fault or ups but it’s very inconvenient. Don’t know how I am able you return this since I ordered this for my parents and they live far away and it’s hard for them to get around.

I was really happy with my purchase untill it stopped working at 2 months.

I’ve been postponing to replace my old microwave but I was very tempted after spotting this Insignia model! It had the perfect design and size, exactly like my older one but it’s price, I believe, it was even cheaper than the one I had bought over two decades ago. It really surprised how fast it warms the food! I’m able to get home and in two minutes I get my meals ready to it!

The product was dented on the side when I removed it from the box. I don’t know if it affects the product as of now.

Love the look of this microwave! Minimal and compact designed microwave that's perfect for a small apartment or tight spaces. The white design also matches our kitchen decor. I do wish the LED clock had a blue color to match Insignia's other small kitchen appliances however. As for the performance, it works perfectly as intended. Heats foods effectively. No complaints here!

Another moment of desperation. I had experienced my last food allergy flare up and my last cleaning of a nasty work microwave. I had to find something small, something inexpensive, and something that would heat my lunch rapidly. This turned into the answer I needed! It was on sale, so that made it a bit easier to buy. But after cleaning a food explosion left behind by another employee, I swore never again. To add insult to injury, people walking by said to me, "that is quite the mess you have to clean up!" My retort was quick and cutting, "worse as this was not and is not my mess! My lunch is still cold!". Could I have abandoned it and walked away? Yes, but someone would have seen me and incorrectly charged the mess to me. Argh!!! Well, now with this little baby in place, I will never have that experience again. So very glad I bought it. It works pretty well and I have had no problems thus far. But how ironic that it is now collecting dust as we are on permanent telework. But when we return, I will put it back into full use again!

It was great for a small countertop unit. It's attractive, quiet and got the jobs done. Of course, it took longer to heat than a more powerful one. Easy to clean and not heavy. We used it while our built in was being repaired and found it perfect for what we needed. And the price can't beat.

Really gets the job done! We use this microwave for our staff breakroom and it is very efficient and compact. Heats up lunches no problem and is user friendly. The white color helps it look like a cute appliance. The dish comes out so it is super easy to clean. Would recommend!

This microwave is small so it fits on the counter next to my toaster oven. I got this because the overhead microwave was too hard to get hot food down and very hard to clean without using a chair. That will be replaced with a stove fan only that I also got at Best Buy. The buttons are easy to use and it cooks food and reheats cold food and drinks despite a lower voltage rating. If you need more time just hit the on button and it will cook for 30 more seconds. If you are careful I think it is durable and will last a long time. The all plastic design is actually a benefit because it cleans easy on the outside. I find stainless steel not so great for that reason and prefer something all plastic. After getting a smaller microwave I think having a large one is a waste of space and uses more energy than what is needed.

Great microwave! It has a spur of the moment purchase. It works great. Heats well. Also, does not take up a lot of space.

I live in a studio apartment so space is at a premium in a tiny galley kitchen. I have a small shelf area that the microwave is to go in. The Insignia 0.7 cu. ft. was ideal to fit in this space. I could not be happier with this microwave. I actually moved out of an apartment that had a 1300 watt over-the-range Whirlpool microwave in it and the Insignia 0.7 cu ft microwave is so much better than the Whirlpool and food needs to be in the microwave for less time if you can believe that. I am very impressed. I use a food cover with vents to keep the microwave clean and so far have not had to clean the interior of microwave. I would definitely recommend this microwave for smaller kitchens.

I LOVE this little microwave. I bought it for my home office so I can keep my work life and home life separate as much as I can :) I do have a decent sized home office so it fits perfectly in my small area that also includes a coffee maker and electric tea pot. It heats up food like a breeze! No issues so far. The price is also perfect. If you're thinking of making the purchase, do it!
