This is a basic, no frills compact microwave....Food goes in cold and comes out hot. IT WORKS! Sometimes I get crazy and will even use the potato or popcorn button! hahaha Good value for the price. Gets the job done and suitable for small kitchens where space is a concern.

We returned it because it was to small. It would have been nice to have a floor model so we could've seen how small the inside was

This microwave is small and less powerful than most, but inexpensive and gets the job done. I usually add 30 seconds to cook time on frozen meals and haven't had any issues. I purchased this almost a year ago and after pretty consistent use it still looks and works like new!

Very low quality. With its compact size you get compacted features. Takes twice as long to cook as my previous model.

It quit working two months after I got it other than that good

I needed a small microwave since I did not have much room on the counter, this item does the trick good value. Note: If you have big plates that may big too big for the inside tray to turn.

Im happy with this microwave. I bought it for my college dorm room that I share with another girl. It heats food perfectly, but I have some minor conplaints. Ive had it for 1 year now and the plastic over the buttons wore down, which is really just a cosmetic issue. Its also loud and you cant stop the noise after it goes off, so I would hate using it if my roomie was sleeping. The only thing I found that I cant cook in it is popcorn. The standard popcorn bag gets too big, and gets stuck, and then the bag burns on this foil piece inside the microwave, which makes the room smell burnt, and butter somehow covers the microwave, so you have to clean it or itll smell like popcorn until you do. I actually think it could be a fire hazard to make popcorn in. Buttt thats ok cause I paid like $30 for it.

I read a lot of reviews for smaller microwaves including the ones for this one. Thought I'd give it a shot. I live in a small apartment with no counter space so I wanted an iddy biddy microwave to save space. My only issue is this isn't really that small. That's on me for not paying attention to measurements. I figure people complaining about improper cooking times didn't read the manual. A quick flip to page 13 tells you you have to think about ounces. I primarily heat frozen dinners with the microwave so all you do is read the package, read the manual, and you're good to go. Hot food. Longer wait? Sure. But really don't blame the machine, blame yourself for not knowing how to use it. It works just fine! :)

If you're looking for a small, cute, inexpensive microwave... well, I wouldn't buy this if I were you. After four months of ownership, it doesn't even warm up my food. I have a meal I often eat that takes 3 minutes to warm up. In this microwave, I always had to do 4 minutes to get what previous microwaves did in 3 min. I bought this one because of the size so it'd fit under my kitchen cabinets on the kitchen counter of my new apt. I almost reviewed it before with a 3 star review, seeing how lame it was but it worked. Now, I'm giving it one star because within 4 months, it makes the food lukewarm after SEVEN minutes. I had to keep putting it back in for more time. I was hungry and didn't want to waste the food... but basically, now I have to more than double the time to get it to be lukewarm. I checked the power level... still set at the highest level: power 10 (which should be labelled power negative ten). The WORST microwave. If you're looking for something small, go with something else. Of course, it conveniently breaks after the warranty but under 6 months of use. What a waste of money. And the beep is long and at ear-piercing volume and doesn't even stop if you press the clear button when it goes off. Wish Best Buy would give me a credit towards a new one. Even a partial credit would be appreciated. An item should last more than 4 months.

I purchased this item for my office. I got it at a discounted rate. It is extremely small which makes it great for my office. It does take a while for food to heat up but it is still a great buy.

Was looking for a smaller microwave and this one fit the bill just fine. The only down side is since it is small, it is very light, hence when opening or closing the door it will move. So you need to be careful where you put it.

Purchased this Insignia microwave as a gift in June 2017. Recipient wanted an extra microwave but has limited counter space. It's been working great for him so far. Certainly well worth the sale price paid.

Not bad a for a small microwave. Perfect for dorms but works perfect for my man cave! Budget microwave you can't pass up!

I read the specs before buying. I picked this one because it listed that it had an on & off option for the turntable. The instruction book tells nothing about it. I called the 800 # and they also knew nothing about this feature. Does anyone know if you can turn the turntable off? Inside is very small and I can't use my microwave plates and other items I have.

I love this microwave. Our other microwaves were all too big to fit under our cabinets, but this one fits under them perfectly! It works really well too- heats things up well, very quiet. Cute design. It's not very big, but it's big enough for me and my boyfriend. The price is also great!

It's a little microwave. Easy to use and doesn't take up much space at all. Great for a small kitchen or even a dorm room.

when I bought this microwave I was a little afraid because the brand but now I can say it was areal good choice after 5 years of everyday use the microwave still working without issues. definitely I recommend this brand INSIGNIA
