There is no telling when it may stop working on you. My unit the light functions when it feel like it randomly. If you don’t unplug it when not in use it is bound to fail within a 2 month period. Also keep in mind the warranty provided must be repurchased if your original unit fail and you return for a replacement within the 1 year warranty period.

But I came home one day and it was randomly turning on and off. Even if you want to unplug it and plug it in every time to use it, it doesn't stay on when started. I would expect it to last longer than 2 years, even at this price.

I am not sure why Insignia cannot make a microwave where the plastic over the numbers does not bubble up after a few uses. It makes the microwave look TERRIBLE! Very disappointed. Again, my last Insignia microwave from Best Buy.

Right out of the box, the door never opened. You have to push it up and pull it at the same time. Unfortunately is was for a rental so was stored, and then I was in the hospital during the return period so we are stuck with it.
