We purchased this and plugged it in after taking it out of the box brand new. Plugged it in, display came on, turntable worked. A day later when my daughter used it for the first time, it appeared to work, but did not warm anything after being on for 1 1/2 minutes. She tried again after ensuring that it did not default to the lowest power setting. She put her item in for 6 minutes and it was as liquid and cold as it was when she first put it into the microwave. So, needless to say, it will be returned. Assuming it is some random manufacturer’s defect. I wouldn’t necessarily hold it against it.

Opening door doesn’t open smoothly. Would not recommend.

It takes twice the time to heat an item as my above the range microwave.

Bought a used one here at Best Buy. Made a huge noise while on. Did not warm up the food at all. Cannot return because I threw away the box, as I assumed it would be working.

Basic microwave, works okay. I recommend getting a more powerful one.

Needed a microwave bought this one. It's awful. Super small and barely has any power. Everything needs to be heated twice as long and popcorn barely pops. Shouldn't have tried to be frugal and gotten a microwave that works.

I’m a tad shocked, irritated and definitely disappointed. I just bought this in October 2020 and today it ceased to heat up anything. I didn’t even use it daily. I didn’t buy the warranty and though I’m out of my money ( seemed more like a rental than a purchase now), I’m actually glad because now I’m hesitant to purchase another Insignia branded product.

Set the clock. When I opened the door it blew the circuit breaker in the electrical panel. After resetting the breaker microwave would not power on at all: no clock, no nothing. Returned it. Waste of time. Never Insignia again.

1st one: Door sticks 2nd one - after 11 months - won't turn off. Whenever the door is closed, the light and turntable are on, but it doesn't heat up food.

The fan has an unusual noise quite noticeable, like one of the blades is hitting something. The "it's done" beeper sounds like a backup alarm ... and doesn't stop even with the door opened until it has done it's full 4 beeps. Other than these two issues, works OK. Delivery was very fast.

for the price is good enough. Not very strong built. Cheap material

Don't pay more than $40 and if using every day get the 2 years protection.

It's okay because I'm not a heavy user. It just takes longer to heat up food.

Very nice looking compact microwave, but food doesn’t get very hot and when pressing button to open the door, it doesn’t without having to take your other hand to open from top.

Bought this in May because I needed something small to fit on a particular shelf. It worked for six months and then died three days before Thanksgiving. Do NOT buy this.

After about a month the microwave doesn’t heat up like it should.

We bought this microwave literally 1 year ago and it broke already. We were heating up food abs the microwave broke. The microwave does not shut off and constantly runs. The panel were it shows the time display only shows four zeros. It’s sad that a Best Buy brand product can not last more than a year.

We made a mistake of not verifying the size we needed. But 0.7 is really small. Barely enough wiggle room to fit a normal size dinner plate. Just make sure your food doesn't overlap. LOL. That being said, it was too small. So we returned it within the 30 day return policy.

It takes longer to heat but it's perfect for my husband out in his big shop!
